we need the simulation version

to bring people back to the game we need a bit of simulation, a version only for those who want to race from the wheel.....many things are missing for it to be a real racing game, not an arcade one....complex setups are missing, the possibility of choose a pylon 2 pylons the wing lacks being able to see the wing if the car is raised lowering the bars etc....more real tracks are missing.....the wear of the asphalt of the tire in a visual way....beyond the a thousand bugs a replay of the race also for consoles a live dg..a truly dynamic weather...a weather that is understandable...what are your intentions?arcade like the 23rd so also oldgen or distort?

  • All of those things can be thoroughly enjoyed as well if you play on a pad ✌🏼

Simulation does not necessarily mean wheel-only.

When you take a seriously look at it, it has way more to do with how rewarding it can be to devote your time and effort into a certain aspects of gameplay.

As it is, there are whole tabs of the setup menu that are virtually meaningless. There's not enough feedback (FFB mostly, but not exclusively) or handling benefits to experiment or fine tune a setup. At the end of the day, the game does not reward your work - and you'll be crashed out on T1 of lap 1 online, or have the same broken R&D car by the end of season 3 of any career mode.

A wheel and pedals set will inevitably be superior to a pad when it comes to inputs range and FFB, but pushing towards better physics and customizability does not mean leaving pad users behind.

@mariohomoh in fact I said about a dedicated version not about not letting pad players play.....if you have to think about pad players you are forced to make arcade physics with a sort of help to pad players rightly.....to enjoy the racing you have to get close to what real f1 requires like acc and gt do

Pad players are not happy with how shallow setups are or how bland these tracks feel 🤷

F1 23 did a solid step towards a better driving experience, Greco be blessed. But it is not controller users holding this franchise back.

I bet we will see no tangible improvements in handling and physics in F1 24, but there will be more F1 World activities and season pass items. Pad players will not be happy, just the same as wheel users.

WRC has been enjoyed everywhere. Most simracing (simracing!) channels I follow did some coverage on it, from reviews to gameplay. Not a peep about arcade aspects to accommodate controller players hurting their experience.

Hey, let's not lose sight of what really matters though. You're 100% right in that the game needs better physics and more realism. It's just the pad players will thoroughly enjoy it as well.
