@EA_rephii I also have the same issue, made a my team went through qualifying and then did the race, got the please wait screen waited 15 minutes before I restarted my game, deleted that save and made a new one and did the race again just for it to sit in the please wait screen again
I am having the same autosave issue while using the Logitech g923. When using a controller I have no issues, only when using the wheel.
I also remember starting the console with a controller and then later switching to the wheel, this also gave no problems.
It seems to only happen when I start the console with the wheel already connected.
- @34e3083bfac06122 interesting that you mention that this happens only with the wheel connected. I'll test this out and return here with my findings because this would make the game playable with the wheel (although the FFB issues would still apply).

Thanks for all of the info everyone has provided so far in this thread. We are investigating this issue at the moment. If you find any further information that helps identify what does and doesn't work (such as launching with a controller connected as suggested by @34e3083bfac06122) then please let us know in this thread.
I have tired it the way suggested a few times, no luck. My issue appears to be more apparent in my team. I tried to do a mid session save in FP1 and it wouldn’t save either. I can make it one or two rounds in story or world mode, beyond that nothing. Very frustrating, unplayable.
@Hoobiechoobie Launched with the controller, had no error messages, all looked good, and drove with my wheel aswell.
- @frgggman I tried this and still got auto-save and disconnect errors.

Did report this before, I did do a braking point mission just with my controller and it worked flawlessly, then I opened the app with my controller then used the G923 for a mission and it still worked flawlessly. @Hoobiechoobie
