Xbox - Auto Save will not work
Product: F1 23 Platform:Xbox Series S Please specify your platform model. Microsoft Xbox Series S Summarize your bug Keep getting the message that the auto save has failed, and every time I click ...
I am having the same autosave issue while using the Logitech g923. When using a controller I have no issues, only when using the wheel.
I also remember starting the console with a controller and then later switching to the wheel, this also gave no problems.
It seems to only happen when I start the console with the wheel already connected.

@34e3083bfac06122 ok I tested connecting the wheel later and the results are the same.
Report code is XCEV-ABGT-SGKV-GSJG
Are you able to try with just the controller connected to your Xbox? That will help us understand if having the G923 connected is the source of the issues. Thanks.
Did report this before, I did do a braking point mission just with my controller and it worked flawlessly, then I opened the app with my controller then used the G923 for a mission and it still worked flawlessly. @Hoobiechoobie
These dominoes all fall in the same order - to the point where I'm going to start timing them to see if there's consistency. Start game, use controller to get where you want, plug G923 in, there's zero FFB, start your running, I'd say 6-8 minutes later the FFB suddenly kicks in, you race for a while, 15 or so minutes later the game can no longer connect to the servers, all progress is lost. Wash, rinse, repeat. I've lost several Time Trial personal bests already because as I cross the S/F line it immediately tells me it can't connect to the servers to register the lap time.
EDIT: I've timed a few instances of loading the game up and going straight to Time Trial. After plugging my wheel in, it's approx. 6:15 before the FFB kicks in. My server connection was lost approx. 4:10 later. All times I did this were within a few seconds of each other, so it's very consistent. Hope that helps in some way.
@HoobiechoobieThat is how I've been playing. If the wheel is physically disconnected and I play with the controller the game has no issues regarding auto-save and disconnects. It works like a charm.
I don't know if it works correctly if I have the wheel connected but play with the controller. Would that be a useful test? Let me know if you want me to check it.
EDIT: To be clear as long as I play with the wheel I always get errors. Doesn't matter how or what I connect first.
Disregard, I guess that one mission I played when I opened the game with the controller was a fluke, got another error message.
