* engineer should help with car setup during practice sessions (camber/toe setup, tyre pressure, ride height/wing setup, etc.)
* known practice programmes before weekend starts (so proper tyre option is chosen)
* practice pit stops for immersive pit stop option
* slider for randomizing "approximate" weather for Grand Prix
* custom tyre selection for GP (not only pre-defined options)
* option to view (and perhaps control) 2nd driver's car components/setup in MT (you're the team boss after all; with option for 2nd to agree or disagree)
* view/share car setup with 2nd driver in DC (driver would have option to agree/disagree)
* improve AI pit stop strategies (not stopping all AI cars at the same time, then team mate loses time in crowded pit lane)
* re-order pit lane line-up based on real life (having MT garage at the end of pit lane even though you're the best team on grid)
* option to save research points for next season or introducing research point cap for current season (like budget cap)
* use research points/money to partially recover failed components
* allow components to fail outside race sessions

@P4st3l1akFirst NEED would be so good for the game. Career mode players love immersion and if it had something similar to F1 Championship Edition would be so good. Would help Noobs understand how a car works. Rather than just taking a setup from TT leaderboardsExactly! Single-player users usually go with pre-selected setups (either from game or, as you said, copied from somewhere) rather than trying to enjoy little tweaks. But those may not fit their style. And not everyone has time (or patience) to circle the track with different configs, to try them out.
If game could help out, they would enjoy it even more.

I'd like to add few more things to my previous list:
* allow both drivers in co-op to select which components to upgrade (game would decide the preference based on discount or driver performance)
* enable more career saves for DC/MT (three is quite limited especially when you want to test various things in game)
* I'd like to see some more flags, e.g. red, black/orange, yellow/red or white (e.g. after "terminal damage" collisions)
I know "black/orange" is difficult atm because parts only fly away after collisions but would be nice to see them still attached at weird angles and being forced to go to pit
And you never see medical car on track after major collisions
* nice touch would also be "safety car through pit lane" after major collisions on start/finish straights

I forgot to add one more, quite important thing (at least to me):
* bring back team goals
Renewing contracts is quite boring as it's only acclaim and money. If contracts would depend also on achieving team goals during weekends, it'd would more fun to negotiate.
Also, reputation was very nice touch in previous games, some teams didn't even want to negotiate. And that was fun when only DC was available.
Thing is Acclaim is very low when you start new career even when you're already skilled enough to go above car possibilities. Goals may help you to get more acclaim and reputation across the paddock.

I bought F1 23 at early access and copied all the E-sport setups, I can still find newer E-Sport driver setups at some tracks, so I would like the option... maybe privacy issues... to search for E-sport driver setups... and no one else???... which I have no doubt been updated from launch.
I am now addicted to Full Session GP so 3 hours practice etc. I would love see... maybe the engineer could ask me to adjust differential lock +1% and in a practice program could say, at such and such a corner you were quicker with that differential lock %. Which is apparently what they do in a real races, adjust by 1%. I would like to try and remember brake bias and differential setting for individual corners but I would need to build a database to remember every single corner at every single track. I want to learn more on track from my driving and cornering style.
