UPDATE:
- Alfa Romeo driver suit/gloves & livery is cool anyone playing out their Sauber MYCareer - add Mechanics suits and team suits to your MYteam like in Career mode
- after inevitably crashing out of a MYteam race, why can't we watch the race play out, ie mulitplayer.
- the driver transfer market can be manipulated by dashboarding out right after you sign,
- after the first season let everyone choose WHO drives for WHAT team - what livery they run, which helmet they drive with. or from season 1, who cares!
- some of the pit lane speed boards are incorrect - Hungary is 60km the game however thinks its 80km
- The A.I pit strategy (changing conditions/gambling) whatever is going on here seems very suspicious/rubber band like - restrictive, even.
re watching race after retirement: game would need to generate stuff, it's easier just to generate a result 😉
Same reason why we don't have highlights from such race, or "full race" video stops after retirement. And I don't want to start to moan about UDP records.

What about something like a team screen for each team, we can see their stats, race starts, podiums, wins, how many teams they've driven for, which teams they drove for and which year, previous champions, (this would be a great interpretation of how to swap drivers to different teams, change their stats) etc - like any other sports game has a history of what has happened in that sport. that is a fair point it is much easier to generate a result
also how about a WET weather driver stat rating?- Meza9942 years agoSeasoned Ace@didyDutcH Just as a heads up, all the things you suggested about team liveries or driver lineups etc. are extremely unlikely to happen as all this requires licences and teams are not known to be happy about such changes

You always hear on TV how they tweak powertrain output or so.
I know regulations stopped fuel mix changes or ERS harvesting for races (and it is reflected in game) but teams still have option for different engine modes so I guess it is done by tweaking output.
It would also be nice to have it in game, to protect powertrain components such as ICE or turbocharger. Reducing output would mean they last longer (i.e. reduced wear) so I wouldn't need to get grid penalties for extra parts.
- Meza9942 years agoSeasoned Ace@P4st3l1ak Well they dont have "engine modes" the have "Powerunit modes", like for the MGU-K etc. i have already suggested a few times to give us a setup option (locked at parc ferme) in which we choose the engine mode which in turn increases/decreases the power output and wear, so you can try running lower power and wear for Hungary, Monaco etc. but higher power for Monza for example.. But yeah im fully with you on the need of anything like it, be it midrace or locked for the entire race but some more freedom!

Another thing that could be quite useful and fun is deleting laps in quali after breaching track limits.
I've just completed quali in Hungary.
I went very wide in T4 and all the game punished me with was a warning. I understand it's good for race but in quali, that should be straight lap time deletion.
