I have recently been told, and now I want in a Grand Prix to have access to all 12 tyres for FP1, all 10 for FP2, all 8 for FP3 and all 7 or 6 sets for the Race. I want to be able to Race with 2 used sets of worn Hard Tyres as shown by Piastri at Las Vegas.
It would be nice if the game more closely followed the rules.

I would like the software to look something possibly like the 2 pictures I have posted.
I would also like the Tyre Race Strategies in game to the reflect the same as in real life. In game at Australia most of the field were on a 3 stop S-S-S-M but Pirelli recommended a 1 stop in similar conditions M-H, F1 unlocked suggested 3 expected strategies M-H, S-H, M-H-S, nothing like in game.

Tbh, it could be useful to have access to all tyres but scrubbing them may not have the same effect as IRL.
F2 drivers usually go out on new tyres for one lap, to prepare them for race. But I don't think CM programmed the same mechanics into the game.
If you same tyres in quali, you can have such strategies available. I usually run quali on two sets only, using set from Q1 in Q2 as well. And because I take Balanced tyre approach, I have extra sets of Softs and Mediums available.
But my driving style allows me to choose one stop strategy more often even when rest of grid is on two stops.
I agree, we should have the chance to select tyres more freely, though. And also choose which to return.
We still have to think of this as a game so some unrealistic things may still happen.
