Your Career/MyTeam wants and needs…

Apologies if some of these suggestions have been mentioned already. On the positive side, if something's suggested multiple times, I guess that would be a good thing!

Better Focus on Other Areas
Personally, I don't really care for F1 World. The Supercars should be axed from the game entirely because, in my opinion, they provide nothing valuable to the F1 experience. I'll touch on this later, but if we're going to have menus of our area and whatnot, then why not integrate it into a modern edition of the F1 2010 era of the menu system, where we move about the paddock? Additionally, I'd love to see the career mode menu revamped to like what was in Braking Point. At least it's better than the uninspired showcase with a screen looping the team logo.

I'd also love to see more focus on the engine sounds, as I feel like they're the most unrealistic/pitched compared to real life. I think 22 had more accurate sounds, but I don't really remember. F2 also desperately needs the turbo sound introduced when lifting off the throttle. Hearing it in real life is amazing, so I don't get why it hasn't been implemented after all this time.

Nitpicks
- If we're going to have real sponsors at the tracks, at least have them in the same locations as they are IRL.
- VR still needs a bit of work. It's better than 22, but it still feels a bit disconnected or stutters - despite having a 3070, and smoother experiences on three other sims.
- PitCoin just doesn't have a value to me personally. I'd rather have an in-game livery editor instead, even if it''s with the generic sponsors. Some of the base designs are cool, but some of them just... don't make any sense from a design perspective.
- Redo the damage model. I shouldn't have my front wheel pop off when I collide with a wall at 15 KPH/9 MPH.


Online Desperately Needs Work
I don't get how I can have a stable connection in the Americas with a host in Europe, be able to race wheel-to-wheel with the host and not have them lag out or warp everywhere, yet the game keeps flashing the indicator a bunch? Also, the instability where a couple users get disconnected, but they're able to stay connected to Discord and everything else, while the game continuously tries to boot them out?

The AI when taking over for an online player also just needs to not touch anything. I've heard from one person that the AI overrode the brake bias to 70. Why?! The AI shouldn't be touching that in the first place. I've heard more commonly that the AI pits disconnected players onto the wrong tyres. So if someone had planned to pit onto New Mediums, the AI would instead pit them onto something like Used Softs.


General Features/Revisions I'd like to see redone/added
- Anti-Cheat. Seriously, how has this not been done yet? There's literally a time in the top 10 of the leaderboards with full assists advertising cheats/hacks. This needs to be taken care of ASAP, how it hasn't is beyond me, and absolutely embarrassing.

- Delete F1 World. It's entirely pointless at the moment in my opinion. If the devs really want us to care about our space and whatnot, integrate it into the literal world of F1! (See also: Paddock Menu).

- Pre-Season Testing. Whether it's a career mode feature, or it works as a new tutorial (not like the F1 2012 era tutorials though), just something so that the player doesn't have to set up a GP Practice mode and figure out their controls/settings that way.
- - Optionally, post-season testing at Abu Dhabi for players in F2 would be amazing.

- Give us an open-test session. What I mean is, either have this be the new "Time Trial" mode, or secondary to Time Trial. Having 100% ideal conditions is great for bragging rights, but it would be amazing to be able to test setups with the addition of various/changing conditions without having to worry about the AI being the AI in a Practice session.


Career Mode Suggestions
- Make the in-game money worth something instead of more interview answers (where the interview system also needs an overhaul, much like the whole career mode) or better engine reliability by 10%. Especially for MyTeam, why can't we put more research into future R&D changes to stay ahead of the competition? (Additionally, change up the R&D section a bit as well, make the money worth something that way.)

- Change the Contract system in career. Being signed to a team with a rolling deal of 6 months isn't exactly the "thing." Being able to sign for a minimum of one year/season would be cool, with the addition of being able to be signed for maybe three years/seasons. That three years could be the maximum, for the player's sake - but maybe there could be an easter egg for the "Max Verstappen Contract" just for fun.

- "Create a Powertrain" for MyTeam would be amazing. That's self-explanatory enough, I feel like. Bonus points if we get to sell that powertrain to other teams. Bonus points if we can adjust the sound of the engine!

- More detailed F2 career. This could be under the "Elite" option I suppose, or just a general option for those who want a more "hardcore" racing experience. But I'd love for the F2 career to be overhauled. If we choose not to sign to an Academy at first, it could (maybe) take longer to get into F1. If we're signed to an Academy, it could take less time. If we win the F2 WDC, we're "out" of F2, and can sim through the F1 season until you get signed to a team in F1. Additionally, being a Reserve driver could be great. Maybe have either one or two races up to a half a season if a regular driver is temporarily out from the team you signed for. Would be amazing to run the two FP1 sessions that teams have to adhere to currently.

General Game Suggestions
- Driving Manually in pit lane. This could be an option, but the current "snap" that we've had for years now is... meh.
- - Speaking of pit lane, give us pit crew mistakes online! It's quite boring having perfect 2.2 second stops every single online race.
