Ai difficulty
Is it just me or Ai difficulty on carrer mode is way to easy compared to other gamemodes such as grand prix mode?

I have not comparred career to other modes but ive had to turn it up compared to f123
There have been changes this year in each cars capabilities depending on characteristics in real life. So if you’re driving for Aston, you will be quicker on the narrower more technical circuits, and on circuits like China, Bahrain etc. you’ll struggle with straight line speed.
Every year I do the same thing. Spend a few hours in time trial to get used to the car and modify settings. Then I head to Grand Prix mode with short qualifying to find my AI level using a 90+ Teammate, This year Alonso with the default setup. Here's what I have noticed in the 6 tracks I have done.
Bahrain was 88 last year and is now 78
Saudi was 97 now 70
Australia was 93 now 69
Japan was 89 now 63
China was 90 now 66
Miami was 87 now 73
I don't know how these will convert into other modes yet. But you can see there's a big difference. Is it because AI is harder? Maybe. Could the default setups be worse? Maybe again.
This is not a complaint of any kind as it's just a number, But Might help others in setting there level.
I played my first career race in Melbourne on 71, and it was pathetically easy.
Now on 76 in Suzuka, Verstappen beat me in Qualifying, and also, he gave me a strong challenge in the race as he kept trying to attack me. So I think you should fit the difficulty to a point where you are able to fight against Verstappen, as he's massively overpowered and therefore the guy to beat. I drove the Mercedes, so with a skilled driver, it's certainly possible to beat Verstappen in the Red Bull.
Now keep in mind that I play on a controller with a preset setup, so I'm not as fast as wheel players with pinpoint perfect setups to fight 110 AI. Also, it's been a long time since I last played an F1 game, so I need to get back into the groove.
Also, it's not about bragging rights for me, it's about enjoying the game after F1 23 became one giant mess ever since the Daniel Ricciardo update, which made it the worst in the series for me...
Tonight I decided to do a test on driver career, as stroll to keep my teammate as Alonso. On the level, it had come to in GP mode (78) and I was half a tenth behind him in short qualifying.
This is on controller with default set up on the car.
So it looks like the AI is pretty balanced across GP mode and driver career (at least at Bahrain)
Just hope it doesn't get messed up when the handling gets updated.
Yea, there’s definitely something going on w/ the AI from qualiy to race. I’m fast enough to qualify on pole at 75 in china, I race the medium length & by the end I’m last. I’m driving the Haas as well & even slower than my teammate. Seems to be something here.
