It’s good the next patch has updates to the Ai in career mode to fix the issues that shouldn’t have been there in the first place, but more needs to be done.
Because as already stated, if the Ai were the way suggested in the original post, I believe that would be a better improvement to career and offline driving in general than any other career mode feature we’re this year getting would ever be.
Yeah, luckily the patch fixed a good amount of this. I've been seeing AI making mistakes, hitting each other, getting penalties (went from 7th to 5th after a race because of AI penalties incurred), etc. AI in the rain still needs to be fixed, and the AI DRS/ERS train still needs to be fixed. If I'm driving as you would in real life and waiting for a good chance to overtake, the AI behind the lead car end up running like 3-4 seconds off the fastest lap (as detailed in the post-race Driver Rating summary).
