@Nellix82 It’s true that this year is a total failure !
Despite the few updates to the games, and some small content, we really have the feeling of emptiness, boredom and frustration on F1 24.
This is how I will summarize the game in its initial and current state.
There are problems at all levels, whether handling, graphics, Bug, Personalization and content.
The game is not only a copy and paste but has been sold to us like a dream once again with great promises and cinematics which are very far from reality.
For my part, not only is it sad for the franchise to reach this state on the games and more importantly it is disrespectful for the community, whether veterans of the franchise or new pilots.
They sell smoke and mirrors with promotion by MAX or LANDO, it is purely a 100% commercial game and for Business !
Not a whole game for the real community, no responses from the developers or even real changes to the game.
Guys seriously, if you're not interested in really working for our pleasure and frankness, give up everything instead of leading us on !
Continue like this if you prefer to hide in your offices than face the current reality on your so-called games ... Work in Progress ➡️ 🤡

So basically looking at this, the downward trend in sales is since EA took over the franchise. This is what happens, with the introduction of sofas and living room lamps, along with the same repetitive bugs.
F124 has been by far the biggest flop and disappointment of them all. The annoying thing is, it's not like everyone is demanding a new game engine, although it would be nice and about time.
All people want each year is a steady improvement. With it being a yearly franchise we can't expect huge changes every time. But surely we should be getting much more value for money with F124?
How on earth did EA expect to have a successful sales total with F124 when the handling model was a disaster even from beta testing and hasn't really improved that much since. Then add in the complete decimation of store items and general basic customisation, not to mention the endless list of bugs that clearly should have been resolved months ago.
F125 must improve the handling model a lot and introduce a basic helmet editor to have any chance of being a success. In addition remove F1 world and maybe bring back classic F1 cars or something new that's actually relatable to real F1!
I'm afraid if things do not show a huge improvement for F125, they are in serious trouble and only a matter of time until another developer gets the licence.

Hey there,
I understand there has been some frustration and, as you can see, we always allow you to communicate freely in our boards as long as it is under the Rules and Guidelines.
However, I request you not to upload rumors or false information as they don't contribute to the proper development of the conversation.

I would say that is a confirmation.

With how this game launched and the support afterwards.
I sure won't be shedding any tears.
Years of goodwill just down the drain.

We don’t know the terms of the F1 license between EA/CM and FOM, both on performance and for termination. FOM is all about the money, just look at what each circuit has to shell out for the privlege of hosting a race and how that goes up every year. So likely FOM sees the gaming license as more income from their IP and less a promotional investment to encorage interest in the series
If there are such talks, as rumored above, going on between EA and FOM then it would indicate a failure to meet the terms is near or already happened. This may even have been starting to stress CM prior to the EA acquisition. EA probably figured it could just lay its game dev strategy on the series and milk it enough to cover the cost.
But the aging code base for the series is tired and not so well managed - trying to leverage DTS buzz by bolting on new and questionable stuff wasn’t as easy as it seemed. So sofas and recurring bugs for everyone while the core game modes suffered
Last year I suggested making 24 a free or low cost DLC add on to 23 as the not much was changing to then double down on 25. This would have been a marginal cost, made some additional sales of an already completed fairly solid release, and maybe garnered some goodwill or at least a lot less grumbling
Some worthwhile attempts to move forward went into 24 but lacking a good code base and enough focused resources, the knock on effects on the AI and other features was not handled well and whatever testing that was done was not enough to avoid the current mess
Meanwhile the whole gaming industry is suffering and EA has put a lot of their cash into football. Given the financials around the gaming industry who could pay FOM a heavy fee while taking on the cost/risk of a AAA game? Plus console support is needed to make the numbers work - last year 50% entries on the time trials were PS users
The rule changes for 26 means the series will need a big refresh. But 25 needs to up the sales pace massively from 24 in order for the game to survive
Will EA let CM step up or just prefer to let it die? or sell it off? Its mostly about numbers for them
Will FOM incentivize another shop to take the license or just ask a big fee? Its mostly about numbers for them too
Been w the game since the start, paid the yearly investment, so feel let down by the lack of much progress on quality and experience since EA. But I really hope a quality F1 RACING game will be there in the future, just not sure how or if it will happen
