Career mode does not have a menu

It seems like F1 career mode is supposed to have some kind of menu in between races where you can upgrade the car and see team offers and such, however my game does not have anything like this and in...

Once you complete the F2 season you will receive offers to move up to F1 and then the car upgrade menus and such will unlock.
