Would you rather someone lie about their experience because they should be thankful for getting a review copy??
That wouldn’t be a trustworthy and honest review. I want to watch a review from someone who tells it like it is!
I’ve been playing these games since F1 2010, and having pre-ordered the Champions Edition at £89.99 this year, I’m feeling a bit ripped off to be honest! I thought this could be the first year I skip it, and I wish I had! It’s not a good game at all.
whatever you think of the handling, there are still so many bugs. There is less content. Braking Point removed, Paul Ricard Circuit removed, all the helmet and liveries removed. You’re getting a lot less for your money…
Players who play competitively and league race are rightly fed up with the lack of innovation and attention to detail. £89.99 is a VERY high price tag and the game should not be released with such glaring bugs as not being able to select wet compounds for wet races. That’s absolutely pathetic!!
so quite frankly, if Codemasters don’t like Gillon talking negatively about the game, then go and make a better game!!
Bugs and First day patches Happens in every Game and Gillon is always Involved in the Patches if it comes to Handling patches and if its not Suiting HIS Driving style then he simply goes over and hate. Stop defending this Person. You touch the Curb a Curb slightly and Spin and thats definetly NOT how a F1 Car works!
Is this the same guy who said 'F1 24 IS SAVED!!!!' less than a week ago? The youtubers and esports people have their own angles, stop listening to them. They know how to be fast on a game by taking every advantage they can and using it in time trial. Note that they never show you actual race setups which will be far different.
I've spent as much time in an F1 car or real F1 simulator as the likes of Gillon and Aarava, or even Opmeer for that matter.
Even a F1 Simulator doesnt Provide as much Grip as a Real F1 Car...
Personal view: I respect Alex Gillon for attempting to highlight good and bad things about the game, and doing what he can to try to help the game to improve for the benefit of all players. I also WANT EA/Codemasters to listen to people like him.
What I do worry about with the current game is a potential larger disparity in experience between wheel and pad players. It was especially on wheels that the current game most obviously had issues I believe.
(For context I play on a wheel.)
