@Ultrasonic_77 I have no issues with someone highlighting genuine issues with a game or leveling their own criticism. What I very much disliked about how Alex approached the whole thing is that he essentially said the game was the worst thing he'd ever driven and was so overwhelmingly negative that a bunch of people I'm sure cancelled pre-orders or just didn't buy the game at all. This in turn I'm sure pushed Codemasters to change it.
When the game released and regular people got a chance to drive the game however, we didn't see the type of overwhelmingly negative "the sky is falling" rhetoric from the community like you would expect if it was indeed the worst thing Alex had ever driven. I would say the reception was mixed at best. So I don't really appreciate that he misrepresented what the game was like and pushed a narrative that the core was fundamentally flawed which it wasn't.
I don't think anyone here is arguing that the launch handling was perfect, it was obviously far from it but in my opinion, even with its flaws, the launch handling was a better experience.
