The only way F125 can redeem the absolute mess they've created for F124 is by completely going in a different direction.
For F125 to be a success they have to bin F1 World, bin Fanzone, bin stickers (beyond ridiculous) and bin stupid tacky gimmicks.
F125 absolutely has to have significantly improved handling, AI behaviour, many more and improved helmet designs that are not hidden behind a pay or grind system, improved engineer audio, improved Ferrari audio and less of the game breaking bugs.
In addition it has to be tested properly before it's just rushed out and released.
I think EA are in for a shock when F125 gets released. They have lost a lot of trust within the community after F124. Sales will be down and to be honest they deserve it. Charging £90 for a complete hash of a game is not acceptable.
- @IanM282 You can see even the content creators have given up with it already and even they are slating EA/CM.
I'm going to start offering odds on which bugs will come back from F122/23/24 - IanM2823 months agoSeasoned Ace@mattwells149852 Yes agreed, watched all of their videos recently and they are absolutely correct.
EA and Codemasters I doubt will change their approach for F125. My bet is they will continue down the same path of self destruction by prioritising the stupid tacky gimmicks, rather than implementing some of the great ideas posted in the feedback thread that they actually created.
Without doubt all of those bugs will be back for F125. What they've done with the tyre smoke is the equivalent of a fireman trying to extinguish a small fire in a bin only to burn down the entire building it was in......
Trying to patch this thing is a bit like playing Jenga!
Might as well add oil slick, machine guns and missiles. 😂😂
- IanM2823 months agoSeasoned Ace@SDGMatt 😂 I find it absolutely unbelievable that they released a patch to improve the smoke situation and actually made it ten times worse? Honestly you couldn't make it up.
It so blatantly obvious that they never ever tested it whatsoever. How on earth can you implement a new patch without even testing it? What an absolute calamity! Hi @buelzenost,
Thanks for the tip. I checked the files myself, and every time, the STEAM client re-downloads 3 files for me as well. However, I couldn't determine exactly which ones.
I'm attaching a recording that shows a solid 200+ FPS, but occasionally there's a noticeable micro-stutter, which is extremely annoying. I couldn’t reproduce it consistently, but there was even a moment when FPS dropped by 20-40 for a few seconds.

@EA_Groguet : We still haven’t received any feedback or an expected timeframe for a potential bug fix. What’s the reason?Hi everyone!
I have a sneaking suspicion that the freezes are probably caused by the EA Anti-Cheat. I’ve verified the files on Steam multiple times, and it always updates/downloads the following three files separately:- preloader_l.dll
- EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.dll
- EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher
I tried downloading the EA Anti-Cheat installer both within the game directory and separately, reinstalled and updated it, but it didn’t solve the problem.
Would someone from the developers finally be willing to confirm what the issue actually is?
Cheers..
Ever since F1 24 is out, the DRS signs in Monza are misplaced, and it's STILL NOT FIXED.
- @LuckyNico92 Yep! As we've all said, it obviously was not tested
