Strangely enough I found potential at Spain when I had big issues in Sector 3 with turn 10 and 11 being culprits for very little traction, but managing it, it's not too bad. How do I stop the car's rear going away from me in long fast corners, maybe I do turn harshly, but that's what the track guide tells me, hug the inside kerb in 3, cant do it, if I don't turn harshly, I understeer massively, Spain's turn 3, turns 13 and 14 snap on me on entry, even though I'm following what the track guides on Youtube say to do. Maybe it's just me and I need to learn to be more consistent

@Rapheal629 Okay so first i would play around with the steering rate and wheel rotation settings and possibly play a bit with the throttle linearity again.
For long turns id advice playing with different anti roll bar settings if it feels too unstable id go with higher front values than rear, less difference (towards higher front values) for the suspension can also make the car more stable. Since one of the previous patches the ride height also changed so id advice increasing the ride height, especially the rear for the fast turns as the compression is strongest there.

- Rapheal6292 years agoNew Scout@Meza994 Ball park figure for wheel rotation and throttle linearity?
I admit the Spain setup was the top of the leader board v1.6 before they were wiped so the anti roll bar settings were a bit extreme, average difference in clicks on front and rear anti roll bar, do you think my ride height on the rear is still too low on the setups I gave you and this is causing bottoming out?- 2 years ago
Ive sat back the past few years hoping this game would get better, but all we get is a copy and paste with new car models and the handling getting worse every update. No customization options, everything they promised was never delivered over the past few years.
Two words keep popping in to my head "Class Action". - Meza9942 years agoSeasoned Ace@Rapheal629 I think i went to 450° wheel rotation with 125% steering rate but just play around so you feel comfortable with the way you steer, if you always feel like turning hard makes you lose it maybe make it less sensible. I dont have any throttle linearity but would maybe test closer to 50% in your case.
Yeah i expected as much, i was mainly looking at your spain setup and that was generally quite extreme as the TT setups usually are. Yea i think it might end up bottoming out, even ever so slightly can suffice in those corners.. Also Turn 10 is just a low grip ***** i also struggle their often but you just gotta let it roll through till you can straighten up the steering enough- Rapheal6292 years agoNew Scout@Meza994 You actually gave me sound advice, Twitter told me it was a skill issue, like that was helpful. Turning the wheel rotation to 450 degrees made the steering a lot more forgiving, 125% steering is actually about right for me, I put throttle linearity to 50% and I have made up the 8 tenths I lost in Bahrain, I think a little quicker in Austria, Spain is awesome 1:13.933 first time sub 14 at Spain, Australia needs a bit of work, but did mid 1:18, first lap was 1:20 so once I built myself up I have time on the table, if I see progress I'm motivated, before I was at a loss, traction is more consistent, my steering is less unforgiving and pretty much goes how I want it and I can get my wheel straight pretty quick so I can feel the throttle more. Overall, I think you've given me the tonic to be able to play again now, I thank you, as for controller feel, I think I'm lessening my stance on that now that something in the settings finally seems to work with 1.7, I think I have all the time back I lost initially now.
