Hi there , first of all I play on XSX and use a TX thrustmaster base , I am a kinda competitive player on the F1 games on recent years usualy playing with the IA on 105 or more depending the circuit and I've done around 350 hours racing on F1 23.
I must say than the feeling I have with this year's game is horrendous , tons of front grip being super disproportionate and I just don't get it. I am playing with 450 ° of rotation and even though the car feels exponentially responsive but the other way around like the first degrees on each side are super saturated and as you go on with the turn in it eases on (I hope I had explain well enough lol) , playing streets circuits its a nightmare on tight turns like hairpins (as I have a formula style wheel is really uncomfortable to get the 450° to get the car around) and I'd really love to see a change on that and if you guys want to focus the game on a sharper front end thats perfect but please don't get it this way , it feels so odd , even counter-steering Its way waaay to easy and responsive but getting to unreal levels , literally you are able to recover the car every time no matter what (360° rotation as default and feeling good like older games that way would be *chef's kiss).
As on the second thing I'd really like to point out the Kerbs as they are mostly flat. Last year they were pretty good actually with exeption of a few of them being a bit to agressive (like Jeddah S) , I'd definitely like to see some real kerbs than penalize you if you get the floor and wood plank to touch them but not as much as to skate a rail not being able to steer out of them at all.
And lastly the third thing I got as feedback is battery and engine braking , I feel than the Hotlap mode has a lot of torque and makes really difficult exits on low speed corners at times and reminds me a lot the release version of F1 22 , getting that a little more scaled on the first 3 gears would be awesome (23 felt great tbh) . Talking about the engine braking I like it as an addition but I'd definitely change a couple things as on 100% EB It decelerate the car so much but I feel there is not punishment for having it too high (like 90 or 100%) on mid speed corners , just find the car more unstable on the low speed ones.
I've just done TT and few 5 lap races to see how the handling was after the update and after a few hours I didn't want to race any more , my main concern is with the exagerated grip on the fronts and the super flat kerbs , even though I like an unstable car on the rear and the front to bite quite a lot I cannot get along with this, feels too unreal.
I enjoy playing on leagues and with colleagues on the F1 games but I'm definitely not playing the game anymore as it is rn but I hope it gets better in the near future.
Thanks for listening to the community and for giving us this space for giving feedback , hope this helps

I'm surprised by what people are saying. I'm finding the handling quite enjoyable. Now I haven't played F1 23 for months. But I'm having no problem with the sensitivity at all. It feels more natural. If I go back and try F123 It has massive understeer. I wonder if people have to reset how they ve been playing?
Also its the same with traction. For the first time ever, I can really enjoy monaco without the rear end stepping out. I'm using a Gt dd Pro wheel.
- 2 years ago@ADunky Because your not a top driver or pro driver, I feel the same and so do 98% of other people, its way better not being able to spin so easy, but the 2% of top players of course complain because for them its "too easy" lol
Thats why I said, they can add a "sim mode" where its easier to spin and lock up and everything for those hardcore players who are a minority.- Nuvolarix2 years agoSeasoned Ace
My first taste after patch (only Time Trial so far): the car looks “heavier” so braking is a bit harder, also engine braking looks less powerful. Traction little harder but not so much, still a bit of weird behavior in corner entry with the front stronger than the rear.
In general I would say better but not so different 🤷♂️
Note: PS5 - steering wheel - no assist
