@Che1791 I think it absolutely could account for 5 seconds or more depending on the track because not only is the distance and scale off but in some places like the esses at Mexico the corners are way less sharp than they are IRL which means you can go way faster through there. There are a multitude of inaccuracies that together can make lap times faster or even slower than real life so the metric of comparing lap times in the game to real life is effectively useless.

@ea fix grip hack. it feels like it, to be honest.too much grip. and keep working on the handling, please.

If anything the car has less grip than it should post patch. These cars have an insane amount of grip and down force in real life and they shouldn't be made artificially harder to drive in the game

Because the tracks in the game aren't laser scanned so comparing the lap times between the game and IRL tells you literally nothing. They aren't the same track.
