The new update to the handling is the worst ever, please bring back the handling that was brought out with game. People need to adapt to new things and not have a cry about these things. On the game I would have to say I’m 1 second slower now because of this. I’m honestly thinking of getting a refund and going back to f123. This game is identical to f122 and isn’t worth the money
What I saw while checking all the possibilities in the game is that while playing with full assists at the begginers level, the game does not let you pit. Everytime you try to brake the racing line it forced you back on it, therefore doing a pit is impossible. This made the game unplayable on this level of assists. This did not happen before the update.

I think people just need to accept F1 24 for how it is, and try to enjoy it, if they like it fine, if not then i guess its not the game for them.
Theres just no way they can fix this game to please people, because just look at this feedback topic , theres tons of conflicting arguments going around:-people saying its too much grip too easy to catch spins
-people saying its perfect how it is now
-people saying it was perfect before this patch now its ruined
-people saying its too easy to spin and too hard to catch spins
-people saying braking too hard and easy to lock up
-people saying too easy braking and impossible to lock up.
etc
etc
Its pretty much IMPOSSIBLE for them to do anything, with this feedback.
The game is how it is, get used to it or play something else, no other way around it- Nellix822 years agoRising Ace
but what is it? a game without head or tail it practically seems to turn the car with your hand the rear doesn't follow.... the rotation of the steering wheel turns jerkily it forces the car the opposite of where you want.... setup we still don't have any info on what to touch what's the point of height from 0 to 60 if I don't know the differences in points? in the end we'll find ourselves running with similar setups....arcade? it's a luxury to call it that

Handling is maybe OK but idk.. something is missing and handling isn't YET perfect.. I have trial version and this is weird.. there is lot issues still.. this isn't worth to buy this game at all
- 2 years ago@TigerAlen410 I believe they know who to listen to, and that's promising. people will always aspire for the best.

For me using a controller I have found an absolute game changer! Ride heights.
Having the correct ride heights and more critically the difference between the front and rear ride height can make such a massive difference in how the handling works.
I have increased the ride heights and Spa and Silverstone and have a difference between the front and rear of 30.
Gone is that horrible sharp pointy front end, completely gone. The car is now great to drive.
I set ride heights of 30 front and 60 rear for both tracks and went so much faster. The car at these ride heights feels so well balanced now.
I can only speak from my own experience here. But this for me is an absolute game changer. Have to also add, I've also now got the front and rear wings equal.
But the ride height changes were huge in order to eradicate that horrible front end. Feels absolutely planted!

So I've been thinking about this and I think the issue and reason the feedback is so varied is that the people saying "the car is too grippy/the game is too easy" are probably playing time trial/online races with equal performance, and the people saying the driving is worse are playing career modes, because the career mode car has always driven worse than the time trial car (until its upgraded to a certain point). in f1 23, the time trial car handled like a dream but the myteam car had horrendous traction out of corners. in f1 24, The career mode handling experience is significantly worse since the patch for me

@dad_brahIve been playing in time trial testing setups and it's a million times worse to me. The cars in real life have an insane amount of grip and after the update the cars feel horrible with fast setups. Sure you can throw on a ton of rear wing to get back some grip but that's detrimental to your overall pace when you get killed on straights. Not to mention these cars make most of their down force from the floor not the wings.
Driving fast setups has never felt this bad in an F1 game before.
