F1® 24 [Megathread] Handling Feedback

Hello everyone,

We've created this mega-thread to collect some more handling feedback. Please share your thoughts with us but keep it handling-related. It would also be helpful if you could be as specific as possible and include on what platform you are playing.

Your feedback was beneficial during the Beta Weekends and we would appreciate it if you continue providing it during the game launch.

We appreciate your input, and thank you for all your passion!

Happy racing!

@ADunky Should be ok. Prepare standard with games that have a multiplayer element not to listen the E-Sports pros. Was all the rage once but so many games in all genres were as you say unplayable. F1 22 was influenced by E-Sports and we know how that went.. Although due to Covid there were limited options

From what Alex Gillon says. Who’s a decent sim racer but also is an adult and quite intelligent when he does any testing. Has said it’s a much improved F1 24 handling. He’s the only big content creator I’d be ok taking him at his word

I can't see any handling problems for me personally. OK, it's definitely rougher than its predecessor, it bangs more on the handlebars and full throttle at the apex of the bend is not, and probably never should be.

It doesn't seem perfect to me, but it's probably the right way to go. By the way, I drive with a steering wheel on the PC, a Fanatec CSL DD 8NM with Formula V2.5 and pedals V3. Yes, Rally is also in the program. With BMW GT.

Personally, I find both much more fun to drive than their predecessors. However, they certainly need some fine tuning.

Trying to reconcile Consoleros with a pad and PC with a wheel is certainly the wrong approach. One model for both seems questionable. It would be better to release patches separately for XBOX, PS and PC and then try to bring crossover together somehow and let the singleplayer run on a different track. Then it won't be such a problem with cheats.

Somehow that fits. And yes, kerbs have also thrown me out despite my contrary opinion. The physics/handling is probably not that easy after all, at least with a DD steering wheel and corresponding pedals. Full throttle through bends is not, nor should it ever have been.

    Hey everyone,

thank you once again for all your thoughts and feedback!

It has been really helpful, and we've just released patch 1.3 which includes a bunch of new handling adjustments.

You can find the full change list in the patch notes here:
    https://answers.ea.com/t5/Updates-News/F1-24-PATCH-NOTES-V1-3/m-p/13780097/thread-id/5

To better collect your renewed feedback after the recent changes, we've created a new megathread and would ask you to share your opinions here:
    https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/F1-24-Megathread-Handling-Feedback-after-patch-1-3/m-p/13783252#M4030

I'll therefore close this current thread and would ask you to switch to the new thread.

    Your input is really appreciated!
