F1 24 code on other account

Hello,

I just received the code for the F1 24 playtest, but I made a mistake and activated it on another Steam account that is not linked to it, and it won't let me change the Steam link.

How can I fix this?

Hello @SOWK_087,

Unfortunately, once a code is activated on an account, there is no way to undo or reverse that.

Please don't try to unlink your Steam account from your EA account or something. It won't fix it, and you might end up breaking your accounts or losing progress for other games.

At the moment, we are also investigating some other issues with the codes and the Beta not appearing in their library, as stated in this thread:

More speed, less haste.
If you mess up, you’ve messed up. That’s why they want your tags. You can see why it doesn’t work because what’s to stop someone applying for the beta and giving the code to somebody else?
Anyway, this is the usual fustercluck but I see why, it’s a left hand right hand job. Won’t be the same person’s responsibility for the forum, the platforms and.the download availability.
