F1 24 Feedback

I am no expert and a casual racing games fan... I remember F1 on PSX from EA and it was an AWESOME game. Difficult but so satisfying.

Now, since ages, this game here first was completely unplayable (couldn't brake and turn!!! and I waged discussions over forums that it has to be like that... WHY? it's just a game, it's not reality even if it's like that in reality). Now I see the wheel locking options is there so cool but still - 20 cm beyond the circuit and you are disqualified OMG.

There's supposed to be a kind of casual version of the game but still so many options feel so advanced and overkill for a "normal" player.

And what's with the steering? Why is it that you steer e.g. left and you make the gamepad straight - the wheels go straight right away, why isn't steering like gradual and not 0-1? This is completely idiotic. It's like there was no steering wheel, just a switch: full left or neutral or full right.

The game is a bit better than some 5-7 years ago because it was totally unplayable, now it's just annoying AF...

Why is that so?

Or maybe you have any tips for me?

Of course, not to mention AI level 0 is still at least medium difficulty, nothing easy...

I just want to have fun! OMG : /
