F1 24 INCOMPLETE and without adequate update

We are currently on the last Grand Prix of the F1 2024 season and the Official Games are still not following !  7 months since the game was released, we are still at the same point.

Despite a certain effort from the devel8opers through updates and events, the games are still doing poorly.

It's December and the official liveries of the cars are not even up to date.

I'm thinking of Mclaren, Aston Martin, Alpine.

The games are sorely lacking in much more regular updates in order to bring the games up to the level of real F1.

I don't know if this post will be seen by the developers but there is someone who does real work on this and regularly !

I invite you to go see his work on Instagram, this guy is called Blondin.16

That’s real work with real follow-up !

And it's unfortunately that it's guys like that, who aren't even part of the developer team but who do their job better, sorry to say it.  @EA_Groguet @Cpayne32

The game is released after half of the season has passed
This seasonal F1 game has a half year lifespan.
Half of that period the liveries, driver lineups and team performances are not correct with real life.
The season is over now but the game still has 2 drivers missing.
The liveries are different, the sound is different, the track details are different

Now that the season is over and looking at this forum it looks like the game is over and they won't make any more changes.
This is not a DLC, it's a full price game and it would be right to at least try to make the 2024 season real by the time the next game is released.
Even if it's DLC it's the same.

Agreed, what annoys me so much which I'm now fed up of mentioning is that fact that they waste endless resources on absolutely pants features.

I just do not understand their logic behind all of the stupid features like Fanzone and stickers. I mean stickers, WHY?

For goodness sake use the time and effort in developing such garbage to either make the game better in the first place, or allocate that time to developing much better patches with useful content.

We have been waiting months for a more realistic team performance patch, which doesn't look like it's coming anytime soon. Surely that's more important than creating career challenge nonsense!

Fanzone was introduced months after the game was released and at a time when there were still huge issues to be resolved and still are might I add.

Until they change their approach the game franchise will continue to flop under EA.

@homesvslupin Yes, it's not normal. There is a huge lack of monitoring at this level and very few regular updates for the liveries. We already have very few cosmetics and they are unfortunately ugly... Work on this is dragging on and unfortunately it's too late now.

    @homesvslupin @IanM282

MERCEDES: The halo is not updated.

MCLAREN: The partnership with MASTERCARD is missing on the car and the drivers

    ASTON MARTIN:

Missing the MAADEN logo on the car

ALPINE: Missing the XBOX sponsor, Pink livery...

No Special liveries from the grand prix of Las Vegas, Mexico, Monza, Silverstone are present on the games!

Neither car liveries nor special helmets.

Not even a special helmet for Hamilton, Sainz, Zhou or even Bottas.

Don't talk to us about content, because the games are there today in this state

If the team cannot keep the liveries up to date regularly with more regular work and press on it is serious.

Because that's the "MINIMUM" for an official game.

You have just released the update of WILIAMS, HASS and a MCLAREN logo.

It's very good ! But why do only half the work ? Where is the rest ?

Are you going to release it in 2 months or 3 months ?  No it's not serious guys

I remember for F1 20 the answer to why liveries are not updated regularly was not only resources but the contracts signed between the team and sponsors, the teams and FOM and FOM and Codemasters. They were constrained also by advertising rules in different countries on what could be in a video game. I suspect not all of it is their fault, but some of it maybe.

One off liveries in a games that represents the whole season is a luxury. Sure they could have an option for what livery each team uses the way Madden lets you edit uniforms but given the other things that need attention I don’t see that as a good use of resources.

Drivers require more than them competing, they need to sign contracts allowing their images to be used, they would need to be scanned and then if they are in turn dropped do you include the next driver too? In a game representing a whole season, which driver is supposed to be in? Since scanning is done before the season and time at a race weekend is limited, how will you get a driver to sit down for scanning when they are pressed for time? Assuming they get the rest done they could leave an editor allowing us to move drivers around assuming the FOM agrees, but CM used to say that FOM was very limiting in what they allowed commercially. For instance Bahrain paid a premium to be the first race so a calendar allowing that to be swapped out was a non-starter till they allowed shorter seasons.
