F1 24 xbox and pc

I pre-ordered F1 24 on my Xbox and I was looking to download it on my PC too. I got the champions edition and everything but I don't see the game in my EA library. Is this normal? I really want to install it on my PC too.

  • Yes, it's pretty much normal. What you're referring to are games in the Xbox Play Anywhere program. F1 has never been part of that program. No EA game has to the best of my knowledge, by the way.

Xbox Play Anywhere, or any other platform-agnostic/cross buy programs, are definitely not the norm.

This is best explained by crossplay.

Even PC Steam and PC EA are different platforms. XB1 and XB Series are different games, as are PS4 and PS5.

PS5 allows you to play the PS4 version of the game, which would carry over into a PS4 account (you'd have to have both consoles on the same account AFAIK). XBL, I'm less sure.

Steam family sharing is also an exclusion.

    "Give us your money!"

Titles eventually come to EA Play (F1 23 was recently added), you'll have to wait. XBox GamePass has options to include this, but again it's like a separate platform.
