F1 25 prices, playstation users pay more to have less

Like the title says..

Icon edition prices:

  • EA App: 79.99€
  • Steam: 79.99€
  • Playstation store: 99.99€

We play 20€ more than pc users. But since we pay more we can have more features.. right? Actually.. we have LESS features than pc users. If everything will stay as F1 24 (and i think nothing will change) playstation users:

  • Cannot save full race replays, only highlights
  • Cannot use voice commands (they just don't work and never worked on a ps5)
  • Cannot use VR

Needless to say, its not a console power issue (we have ps5 pro now and it still have the same ps5 limitations). So.. what is this? We should pay LESS than pc users since we have less features. Or we must have the same features for the same price, but.. this??

  • I guess if I buy a PC now, I can make the difference in price back in about 100 years.

Haven't owned an F1 game since F12020 on PS4. Had no idea they'd got rid of voice commands since then. That was a decent feature, although it was in its infancy so needed improving still.

  • I do know that if you have played F123 or F124 you can get 15% off the iconic edition

    Hey there,

I know this is a frustrating situation, but sometimes the fluctuation in prices doesn't depend on the company itself. Sometimes, third-party platforms have their own standards, limitations and rules that every publishing company must meet.

That price is not only for PlayStation, but also for Xbox

I understand that platform differences can sometimes lead to variations in price, and I could accept paying a bit more for the PlayStation version if it offered the same experience as on PC. However, what really bothers me isn’t just the price but the lack of certain key features—most importantly, VR support.

The fact that the PC version includes VR while the PlayStation version doesn’t is really disappointing, especially considering how much VR enhances the experience. It feels like we’re getting a downgraded version for a higher price, which is frustrating as a player. I really hope the developers reconsider adding VR support because, for many of us, that’s a major part of the game’s appeal
