F125 - Make or Break
F124 hit our consoles early last year. And it was safe to say and still is safe to say… what an absolute disappointment. The biggest word that comes to mind is: “LAZY”
Biggest problems:
- Connectivity Issues - As someone who runs a league using this platform, there is no end of problems with EA Servers. So much so we just now have a saying “EA Servers doing their thing” This NEEDS to be addressed.
- LACK of creativity and options - For the last few years, the art or lack of customization in the EA F1 games are awful. The given custom liveries are so boring and lazy. Why not allow better customization even if it’s on par with Forza Horizon 5. Allow players to actually design side pods, front wings & rear wings using wind tunnel simulations. That would make the game a lot more interesting for serious F1 Lovers. Release updates where new developments to cars can be made. F1 World is so boring as it is, lazy development.
- Allow racing a track in reverse (not actually in reverse gear)
- Elephant in the room - Bring back classic cars from different eras. No more rubbish excuses. Nothing more to say on that.
- Custom Set Ups - Custom set ups was okay in F123, could be better. But in F124 goodness me, the set ups make absolutely no sense. Don’t even get my started on the awful tyre degredation (Apart from the front right tyre, that will apparently last me a whole season)
- Bring more tracks to the game - All previous tracks in the last 20 years should atleast be on there. If you want players to continue to be engaged all year, atleast have 30 or so tracks on there.
- Listen to the players - The amount of bugs and problems with F124 and for them not to be addressed just screams “We want your money, not your enjoyment”
- 75% Race Distances - No more to say
- Actually make the game not a copy & paste and stick “F125” on the front and say you’ve released a “new feature” which is actually a feature you removed a few years ago.
- AI Racing - The Ai racing is appauling, and 9/10 you get stuck to one and get dragged off the track and that’s the race over. Getting stuck to another vehicle in contact needs to be addressed better.
