It’s been a while since players have been asking for F3 cars to be included in the game, both for online races and for single player. It would be an great to be able to start your career on the game from F3, then progressing to F2 and then F1 (with the option to select in which series you want to start, for who doesn’t want to race in minor categories). Maybe in career mode if you have great results in F3 you could also have some minor F1 teams offering you a seat for the following season.

- @Maverick_DV Its been requested often but as it stands right now they dont only have problems with F2 races being dull DRS trains with completely wrong ratings for the drivers and thus wrong performances but also no strategy variety at all, not even realistic behaviour (using both sets of options in qualy - its not even possible) there is so much wrong with F2 and now even F1 races get really dull because the AI seems not trained well this year for races and then F3 added onto it which would just be a 30 car DRS train with all AI the same rating and pace?
Dont get me wrong F3 would be great for career progression but not in the current state of the games I've been requesting F3 for years. It would add so much more career mode variety. Starting from F3 and working your way up.
It also gives players a new car to drive for variety, as well as 30 new young drivers to use in My Team....
But sadly they can't even be bothered to update to the current F2 Season until 6 months after launch, so F3 is just wishful thinking....
I'm sure the IKEA simulator will return in F1 25 as a "new feature" instead
I'm inclined to agree with @Meza994 . They need to work on making the game modes they already have better, rather than adding more games modes.

Let's not forget this is a £69.99-£89.99 game. It's not cheap! Not by a mile! It's also EA now... Not a small studio....
Don't give them a free pass. Demand more!
Project CARS contained VASTLY more motorsport categories, tracks and cars each with their own handling models created by a much smaller studio on a smaller budget... Back on the Xbox One!!

F2 2024 should be in the game at launch. Waiting 5 months is not acceptable. Especially several years in a row. Either do it properly, or don't bother! Why should we pre-order an incomplete game. After so many years of having F2, they should have ironed out these issues and be working on giving us F3 for a complete experience. Especially when it's often brought up how stale career mode is getting
- @SDGMatt EA is just the publisher, Codemasters is the dev, not the biggest studio. Yes they could implement it but the result would be a bad butchered boring DRS train, even real F3 is often enough just a DRS fest and when they havent gotten the whole dynamics right and strategy being a thing in F2, different driver behaviour, some pushing early, some later etc. then there is no sense in adding F3, its just wasted dev time till then.
You are right that they should have perfected F2 now yet they never really worked on it at all apart from car handling, just shows you how important it is to them, after all the game is called F1
