I decided to reinstall this game for the express purpose of contributing to this thread. I haven't played it since July when the update broke the controller vibration makeing an already unpleasant game even worse.
I reinstalled it, I launch the game, I get to the splash screen and the game closes itself. A message pops up, telling me that the EA anticheat on this fresh install is not the latest version. And I can't play this game.
There's a website given in the box to find the latest version. But the address given just goes to a 404 page not found.
And I think that sums up F124 better then any words can.
My son’s observation is this:
For the casual player If you take full assists and go track to track, assuming you are on the right tyre at the time, you should be able to set the same time as the best driver in the same car. Everyone wants to be Senna or Schumacher in ability. The difference should be down to the car, tyre, strategy engine wear, racing line etc.
Then people can move off assists and raise the AI, but the base must be consistent Qualy to Race, wet to dry, track to track.
He also prefers the pitstop to be automatic, or an option to turn the manual turn in off without going to TV cut scenes.

People here have written great detailed feedback regarding the product that they paid good hard earned money for. A point I would like to add is regarding bug reporting. There's a forum dedicated for bug reporting, but it seems like nobody reads those. I (and several other people) have bug reports that are several months old with absolutely zero acknowledgements. And yet, the only threads that seem to be receiving replies/acknowledgements recently are the ones where people are expressing their disappointment in this game, only for those threads to be locked.
And only those bug reports that have multiple replies have an EA community manager acknowledge them. If tracking these forums for bug reports are difficult, then maybe it is time to move to a more standardised bug reporting/ticketing system, like the rest of the software industry follows. People who just want their product to function as defined (as any well engineered product should) spend time and effort gathering data, formatting it to suit the template, maybe record screenshots/clips showing this bug to submit a report. And what comes out of this time spent? Absolutely nothing.
It seems like the perception of the public opinion of this forum is way more important than actual bug reports. Call me crazy, but I think if those reports are looked into and solved, the public opinion of this game will improve.
