I have a great idea actually I wish would happen. Where its impossible for a lobby host to adjust restrictions on traction control. Its locked to allow full tc, medium or none. I wish this would happen in future games to end the bias against traction control users. The fastest drivers in the game all use no traction control. So anyone using medium or full is not at an advantage.
To add to this there are people with disabilities that want to compete in leagues and they feel like they need the ability to use full traction control. im talking to a guy right now has said in a few leagues they refused to let him use full traction control even though he had a minor brain disability.
I have experienced a lot of unnecessary bullying regarding using full traction control.
I feel that the game and community would be much better off to completely end this bias regarding traction control and no longer allow anyone to dictate in a lobby what other people can use for traction control.
so i hope in future F1 games this happens so that full traction control users are no longer outcast from certain leagues and tiers, no longer bullied, etc. this is a real thing. its similar to racism or sexism and its literally not right that its happening that people have this negative experience in league racing. also even in open lobbies where a host will suddenly turn off all assists and ruin the experience for nearly the full grid who use assists.
Quick thought, it is really annoying after 5 months the game is released that the car performance is not updated yet. I understand it is not that easy as it should not show the performance of the last race but the average performance of the year.
This is one key point for me that kill the pleasure to play a 24 game and having alonso faster than the Mercedes.
It would be nice that this is updated more often. In one of the first patch it was noted the car performance were updated until Monaco GP. Now we are after Mexico. We should have another update and more communication from EA whether it will come or not.- Hello, what was delivered is absolutely ridiculous.- Handling was top notch on release. Then patched topieces (medium traction control) Never properly patchedand never mentioned again by EA This: "v1.6 - Handling -Adjustments to Medium Traction Control Setting" had noeffect at all. How can it be that with medium traction controlyou often suddenly spin in the dry and can catch the carperfectly in the wet?- Same performance. How can you screw this up so often? Will it not be changed anymore?!- Various invisible obstacles. Known and will not be changedanymore?!- ERS bug, DRS bug, will not be changed anymore either?!Basically man deliver an "Early Access Game" and then stop work on it.
It should be clear that man are not doing yourself any favors by doing this. - IanM2824 months agoSeasoned Ace
@sascha_focus1975Agreed with all that 100%. Not only is F124 a complete disaster, the fact that most of the major game breaking issues like controller handing, AI and their inability to overtake resulting in boring racing and invisible bumps in the tracks not being resolved is not acceptable whatsoever.
Any other developer would have resolved all of these issues months ago! how is that value for money? Their priority is clear, fill the live seasons with more F1 world unrealistic garbage instead of fixing the game.
I find it unbelievable that work on the game has stopped after just 5 months. That has never happened before. To let the players down like that is simply unbelievable. You don't expect iRacing or anything like that. But at least the obvious bugs would be fixed, such as the handling including traction control. Then you would have a status for 2025, since nothing is changing in the regulations anyway.
- @sascha_focus1975 not everything you read is true, they haven't stopped working on F1 24.
The only sensible thing that is still being worked on is the starting lights. All important points like invisible objects and especially the handling! will not be changed. The sound will not be changed either and a lot more. So it reads more like work on F1 24 has stopped and there are still a few patches to come. This means that the game remains in a desolate state.
Gotta say I am really bored of the house cut scene after every race in career mode. It was cool for the first 4 times but now it seems to drag on forever.
BTW At least 2 things in community updates says awaiting patch so they’re still working.
The question is, what kind of patches? As already mentioned, according to official information, important points are not being worked on or patched. And that leaves a game that is not finished or good. Handling in the release was good. Everyone was happy, as were the content creators. It is being patched to pieces and never properly removed. Then there are the invisible obstacles on various routes. Will be patched at some point, but not in this game, unbelievable......
This is not good news, no matter how you interpret itNever have I ever felt so ripped off on a F1 series like I feel with this game. F1 world is garbage. You guys are not consistent with week to week races, barely updated. It's almost as if you guys have abandoned this game and I'm asking if you've abandoned it and already on next years title, please give me my money back, or I can promise I will not fall victim to this garbage come June 2025. The content in F1 world is far and few between, race against AI and they literally just follow each other, all with the same livery. It's worst than F12023 and I thought that was bad. This is it for me. I knew the minute EA took over, that this is what would happen to this title and it's a shame. Cause it could be something special, but it's not. Anyone else feel this way with F124? Please tell me I'm not alone with these thoughts.
