We need more communication from EA/CM too.
We don't ever know what is properly being looked into as a feature or a bug.
We have no confidence to buy the next issue of the game

@AEF251I don't play My team, but this year I feel sorry for those that do. What I'm about to say also goes for the helmet designs (or lack of) as well.
The content in this year's game especially is absolutely awful at best. Not only is there way less than before, it all looks so tacky and silly.
In addition I just do not understand the logic from EA. Why is it so hard to listen and understand what we are all asking for? Even if they have to hide the helmets behind their ridiculous and annoying pay and grind system, at least put some things in there and make them good and relatable to actual racing.
The designs lack realism and focus on daft and glitering things. Make the race items and content more realistic. Not like Mario Kart!
EA, honestly why can't we spend any of the pit coins on decent helmets and for those who play My team good race liveries?
I'm fed up of saying it, bin F1 World, bin Fanzone, bin all the meaningless content and drivel like headphones, shoes, and how my apartment looks. Absolutely nobody cares one iotta about this, it doesn't belong in any racing game. Then use the recourses to design better helmets and liveries.
If you must carry on with the live season stuff then at least fill the damn thing with items worth having.
It's just so easy to do! - AEF2514 months agoSeasoned Veteran
I gotta ask; what is the thought process for designing liveries for MyTeam and custom player use? Is it make it outrageous? Is it so that they don’t look realistic? So they will never be confused fora real livery?
Does the person people designing them not know what they are used for or where the sponsor slots go?
The neon whatever that came out today makes it impossible to read any sponsor decals that might be on it. Most designs are like that. Seriously you had good ones in previous games, what happened?

You were ready. What happened?
It's not that difficult.
Give us an optional simulation. Without autopilot in the pits, weather on TT like back then, telemetry data in the pits. That's nothing new.The sound of the engines like back then, with audible gear changes from the driver's own driving, also nothing new.
Rain, which also looks like rain with visible drying tracks, spray from vehicles driving ahead, also nothing new. It was all there 20 years ago.
Hey, if I want shirts, shorts and furniture, I play Sims. None of that has any place in F1.
WRC isn't the yellow of the egg either, but there's still some feeling there. Why don't you crawl up to their floor and at least ask how they make their damn sound? You're all CMs. Make something of it and work together! I can appreciate that and thanks for your reply. I truly hope you're all hearing us, because I myself think you're on to something with F1 world, only problem is the content for me and your ai.... This whole fanzone crap (excuse my language) is garbage, we just wanna race man. I like the idea of having my own car and my own control of how it looks and drives. Content, content, content. F1 2023 I couldn't even keep up. Why is the content far and few between with F1 world 24? Why are all the ai's cars the same livery? They all follow each other like a snake majority of the time. I don't get how you released last years with so much and this year there's nothing. Are you guys still working on this game? Can you promise us anything when it comes to content at the least.

The AI balance regards to their performance from track to track is so inconsistent. How on earth can you win at Bahrain by 15 seconds and then struggle to keep up with the Williams and Sauber at Suzuka? And please don't tell me it's setup related. I've been playing F1 games since Geoff Crammonds GP series and can setup the cars with my eyes closed!
I clearly remember this to be the case in F122! It was so imbalanced. F123 was miles ahead in terms of AI consistency.
I have speculated this theory recently that because it's the team who made F122 also made F124 (assuming from what I've read is correct) it's just like they have just used the AI coding from 22 to 24. In addition the ridiculous acceleration out of the corners is exactly the same as it was in 22. Absolutely never an issue in 23!
EA, if I were you I'd honestly consider hiring a real and experienced F1 fan as part of your development team. Someone who actually cares and understands what is required to make a proper F1 game to provide us with much better content, realism and attention to detail.
Surely by now you must realise what you are doing isn't working. Forget all the meaningless content and improve the game with absolute focus on real F1 content.
I also ask, how on earth did we ever arrive at F124 in this condition? F12020 had more tracks, massively improved race wear regarding helmets and even classic cars.
Why have you stripped the game back to feature absolutely nothing in comparison and even managed to make the core gameplay utterly atrocious, especially handling and AI.
Completely unacceptable for £90!

jThe more I play the more irritating it is to have to change the AI pn some tracks to stay roughly where I belong, that needs to be smoothed out. I suggest go drive on full assists at each track to see where the AI needs to be changed. Canada, Hungary, and Netherlands are 3 that come to mind right away.
The in race goals are OK in career but the drain the ERS battery is silly and often comes when I am in a battle and need to be smart with my battery. These goals need to make more sense.
Basically it would be enough for now:
- Correct handling
- Correct traction control
- Fix ERS, DRS and start light bugs
- Rework tires
- Correct sound
And then carry this over into 25 and don't reinvent the wheel again. Then you can devote yourself to other
things, as noted by RacerOP81, for example. Story mode is OK and fun. F1 Live is so unnecessary. This
probably takes up too much development time that could be used more sensibly. When it was released, the
game was on the right track, but was basically patched into a bug game. In the beginning, it was really fun
and enjoyable compared to F1 23. But you get the feeling that things are read here, but still ignored. After
the massive criticism, I would have expected that the various bugs would be worked on again and corrected
in this game. After all, this would significantly help the development of F1 25, whether the adjustments are
sufficient and accepted by the community.

I just wish to have the most realistic F1 racing and/or simulation available. Things that make EA Sports F1 not:
Tire management seems off. I never feel like I can truly control what tires I end up within the race. Tires seem too predetermined per each session but maybe this is realistic? Just feel like if I want to run what ever combination of tires and however many in each session and have too little "new" on race day would be of my own choosing. Or choose what tires I want to hand back.
It amazes me something like following official rules and guidelines such as track limits isn't accurate. 3 second penalties? 3 track limit warnings and the 4th is a 3 second penalty in F1 224 and that came from where? You call that realistic? Penalties seem so inconsistent too for collisions. I'm rammed in a side pod, sent into a spin, forced off the track, stuck on the AI's car as they continue to turn in and they get a warning at best.
The AI just seems basic at best. Sometimes they leave a cars width, other times they keep plowing into your side pod after a late dive into the braking zone. Realistic AI based on both team and driver performance as well. Racing Alonso in the top 10, sure. Stroll constantly up there with Alonso? Seems like when one team has a strong car both drivers are equally strong. Clearly isn't the case in real life like AM and Red Bull... But the basic AI along with the made up 3 second penalties and inconsistent collision penalties are my biggest frustrations with the game and a game shouldn't make me frustrated while tying to enjoy a race with a friend.
Better 2 player career. Why can't both upgrade parts? Auto recovery is a joke. Was reset onto or into the path of another car and instantly got a 10-second penalty.
Multiple real-life team liveries to choose from. Not just one or limited time liveries. Hated the white Red Bull or Monza Ferrari liveries being available for just a week or 2, though not specific to just F1 2024 clearly. I really want to see and race consistently with the real McLaren Chrome livery for example, or in 2022 I wanted to use the McLaren Future Mode. But have never seen either of these in game. Unless I missed a limited time reward. I get some specialty liveries are behind F1 World Challenges but also maybe after that limited time make them available for purchase? Even not being a Mercedes fan I would purchase the 2024 Singapore livery to use in career. Or VCARB in Miami. I wish I could view every livery ever available and how to unlock it or purchase it.
Want adjustments to downforce to affect the visual appearance of the rear wing. It appears changing the aero settings don't change the physical appearance of the car. Again not realistic.
Sometimes I gotta ask if the developers are F1 fans, have watched a race or season? Just so many differences between real racing and the game. Yet what would keep me coming back and would be willing to spend more money (on say a deluxe version) would be more realism and more liveries. I currently want to spend the least currently with the state of realism and lack of real liveries. I don't want any of these fantasy ones in F1 World.
Just a few thoughts I have.

@LightPilgrimI'm absolutely convinced that although some of this thread may have been read, absolutely nothing will change. F125 requires a whole new approach in my opinion but with the core of the game working as it should.
The main problem here is that there seems to be a huge disconnect between what we as F1 fans would like in the game and what EA see as important.
If only they used their recourses better to improve the core base of the game and focused more on real F1 content related things, instead of this utterly awful fictional nonsense they keep drumming up.
It's more important to improve and fix a lot of the basic content that has become increasingly stale.
