Yes, EA/Codemasters add the Ferrari sound from F123 to the new game because the Ferrari sound in F124 is unbearable
When you listen to the other engines, Mercedes, Honda and Renault, they're pretty good and almost recognisable to the real thing to some degree.
I honestly have absolutely no idea what they were listening to when creating the Ferrari engine sounds?
It's by far the worst and is a million miles away from any recent on board Ferrari sounds.
I do hope they look into it and improve it. It's not only nothing like it should be, it also sounds so bad and annoying, especially over a full race distance, to which it will become unbearable.
Just patch it with the F122 or F123 Ferrari on board sounds at least.
- homesvslupin2 years agoRising Veteran@IanM282 sure it is. I I am a ferrari fan, I enjoyed driving the Mercedes in f122 with driver mix sound. but I hate driving a Ferrari in F124. Of course I didn't buy 24, just trial. Engine sound reduces immersion and interest as much as f handling.

From a realistic perspective, what do we think the chances are of it being improved with a small simple patch?
I'm fully aware there are much more important and pressing issues currently. But surely they have to do something? It's awful 😞
- LordPhoenix-TH662 years agoNew VeteranI can't remember Codemasters/EA ever changing the engine sound in an old game. What I noticed is that the Ferrari sound is not always the same.
Compare Ferrari, Haas and Sauber.
This wasn't the case in the old games.
