The Ferrari engine sound upon initial release was poor. After they updated it it's a complete and utter disaster.
I honestly applaud the developers for acknowledging the complaints and trying to change it in a patch. I really do. However it's now so much worse and the amount of complaints requesting it to be looked at or even reverted back is huge.
The developers response to the recent complaints basically says it was intended to sound this way and that's it. So get on with it!
In my opinion this is a completely unprofessional response. And a clear sign they've given up on the game.
I am absolutely clueless to what recording they used to resample the sound. It sounds incredibly low resolution and is like listening to a damaged set of headphones.
The rest of the power train sounds are fine, Mercedes, Honda and Renault.
100%. Ferrari is a popular car in f1. If people hate bow it sounds, they will not play. I know what I will not do in 2025: get a new F1 game and prime reason for it - lack of quality in f1 24 and devs ignoring players

@LightPilgrimAgreed, I just do not understand how all the other power trains can sound reasonably good and the Ferrari sound is a complete hash.

The sound is generally poor. Onboard, on the track, it doesn't sound real anywhere, let alone immersive.
For me, the statement from the developers is just a statement that they tried something and now they don't feel like changing anything.
It sucks, but it stays that way because I don't want to invest any time in it.

Probably going to be an unpopular take... but I'd just like to point out that any changes made to the car have to be approved by the team, which means someone over at Maranello listened to the new engine sound and said it was better than the original one. So like it or not Ferrari themselves gave approval on it.
