@EA_Groguet I would like to understand how the issue of rear wings is managed in equal performance....and also in cars that in reality are different from each other so what will we have with equal performance?
- Meza9942 years agoSeasoned Ace@Nellix82 I highly doubt that the DRS will be defined with the shape of the car but actually the usual car performance chart.. The presentation might be fancy but i really cant imagine them going for a complex simulation of how the DRS will change on a certain wing form rather than saying bigger rear wing drag = bigger DRS effect - its not a complex formular to get that one working realisticly, but who knows
- Nellix822 years agoRising Ace@Meza994 because if you give the choice of wing? how do they do it in reality? it couldn't be.....then the other point is if I use haas and alpha with equal performance can I feel the difference in the flows?
- Meza9942 years agoSeasoned Ace@Nellix82 Forget the reality, ingame they cant fully simulate the DRS interacting the the beam wing etc. but they will go after the basic principle of more drag produced by a bigger wing angle = bigger DRS effect, its the same IRL too but due to the airflow it can differ in effectiveness not quite lineary..
Regarding the qual performance it will be as Nuvolarix said Red Bull car performance for all cars as long as they dont get it bugged again so there is chassis specific tyre wear etc for some reason

Usually on Equal Performance the car should be the fastest one, so Red Bull 🤷♂️
