Community ManagerThis is exciting and the focus on handling could mean a great improvement of the game. I was particularly taken by the statement “Dynamic Handling represents the biggest physics upgrade we have ever made in a Codemasters F1 title.”
The fact that Vertsappen was involved makes me optimistic as in prior years he was critical about car handling in the game and clearly preferred iRacing. It would be nice if the best current F1 driver actually thought the official F1 game did a decent (preferably good) job of reflecting what it is like to drive an F1 car.
The changes in the suspension model, the tire patch and wear modeling, the focus on chassis rake, DRS, and ERS management reflect the scope and scale of this improvement. The fact that car setups will play a larger role will result in a more F1-like experience.
While I am interested in the revamped Career mode, the focus on improving car handling is what I was looking for. Looking forward to the release...
