Is F1 2024 dead already?
Am I right to assume EA will not be addressing issues we have all reported with the game anymore? Now all focus is on 2025? The more I think about it, the more I realize it is the worst I have see...

@EA_Groguet We keep getting told that things are being fed back to the dev team, but we never hear a follow up. We are not seeing enough evidence that issues are being resolved. It is beyond frustrating and we have had this conversation before...
I've stopped reporting bugs on here because they simply take up too much of my time for posts that are ignored, never replied to and simply drift down the page and lost. Why are the devs not on here engaging with us when we post a bug report? Why are they not seeking as much information as possible about the issue? Is it any wonder why 7 months and 16 patches after launch we are STILL having league races destroyed on the final lap of a race because the leader has been taken out by an invisible wall that was in the game on Day 1? That is unacceptable! Not a single member of EA's team has ANY right to be annoyed at the player frustration on here!

Why can we not get a member of the dev team on here to answer questions and communicate feedback directly to us? It really isn't too much to ask...
It's a Wizard of Oz vibe with these guys. Hidden behind a curtain with some middle men 'community managers' taking so much of the flack and abuse.

@SDGMatt when it come to bug reports being passed onto the devs. I know for fact @EA_Groguet does. He also continuely reports to them any bugs that multiple people post. I know this because when I was champion he was kind enough to always keep me in the loop and answer or chase up anything I asked him on our behalf. Within what he was allowed. @EA_Groguet Is honestly a stand up guy and imho the best CM EA have. Especially when working for us. However... unfortunately devs not appearing here isn't up to him. He can only do so much. I'd much rather we had the same system as we did on Codemasters own forums where Barry was ever present and who had intimate knowledge off game. But EA have different(worse) way off doing things.
As somebody who bought these games from the F1 2010 day's I can say I haven't touched the last 3 , wrong direction for me removing classics and replacing them with F1 life , world, super cars just zero pull for me to buy . Regarding this year even though it's currently on sale for £20 I still won't buy because I see no improvement to ai if anything it's actually regressed as seems just massive drs train's everywhere and ai on rails, zero fun or realism. If you trying to do classic scenarios etc you should take a blueprint if how moto gp 22 did it a dedicated mode it was very well done. Regarding ai it's been the same for years, absolute rails in qualifying never a spin , accident, red flag it's just racing bots. Also comparing it again to Moto GP which has all junior categories, riders all in the career, and live race stewards etc it's just more alive and exciting racing. And people complaining about lack of helmets etc well over 40 and a helmet editor are available there with zero mtx ..... This game just needs to change direction and vastly improve the ai and on track as it's stale and been the same if not worse now for years.
- The live team exists but I am convinced that they do not know how to communicate the real problems. I believe that for f1 25 not even the best marketing campaign possible will lead people to pre-order the game. Only if they brought David Greco back to the team would people be sure to pre-order. Unfortunately, the new team is not up to par and if f1 25 does not revolutionize itself, returning to a simulation path, it will be garbage even before it comes out. The first thing to do is to get rid of the old gen. Then develop a driving model from the steering wheel, as David did. Because a driving model made from the pad will always be a disaster. You can adapt a driving model from the steering wheel to the pad but you cannot do the opposite

The Q&A topic that was setup for him to answer questions about car handling was one of the better things that CM/EA did - but then they cut it off in May. It was one of the best (and needed) topics for the F1 24 forum. This was particularly true given all the controversy right after the game was released about car handling.
