@toxinrayn Had a Ai work around for this in last years game. Didn’t always work. But try Once lights go out. Pause game. Restart session. Goes back to race start. Sometimes would see more Ai damage
Ai damage doesn’t activate until race starts. Problem is it doesn’t activate after formation lap like it’s supposed to. Restarting session seemed to reset it.
I sent over pictures and videos and possible workarounds I’d tested to codemasters last year. They replicated the issue. It would appear this years game still has the same issue
Flashbacks May also be an issue. 🤷🏻♂️.

@ScarDuck14 Hmmm.. Will give the restart session a try, I'm on to Spa next, still no DNFs of any kind. (Even myself when my Engine was running at close to 400*F for the last 7 laps of Spain.) I want to see some immersion, safety cars, wrecks, retirements, oh and rain once would be nice instead constant scorched earth 100-120* Track temps no matter the location. What's with that???
- ScarDuck1411 months agoLegend@toxinrayn Yeah where I had this issue or similar last year. Where I also thought I didn’t really care about immersion. Found myself so frustrated I ended up deleting the game. Did play 350 hours. But considering I play 700 hours and up on previous games. It’s quite telling.
Issues around this do seem much worse. I used to always check pits stops after race to see that Ai cars never came in to replace front wings. Where in previous games especially in 22 there was always Ai cars that hadt to have a front wing change. Maybe more than they should but thought the balance was just about right- toxinrayn11 months agoRising Traveler@ScarDuck14 They also have the durability completely backwards. Since Red Bull took over from Honda mid 22 they haven't had one Power Train related Retirement ever. Yet they are at the bottom of the list on durability.. Merc are at the top when they lost what is it now between them and their customer teams. 8-9 cars just in races and countless issues during practices requiring component swaps. These are easy fundamental things that you have to try and get wrong just to get wrong. And we get that ridiculous message from the Codemasters Dev about what they are focusing on. And it's moronic stuff that nobody cares about instead of the main issues.
- toxinrayn11 months agoRising Traveler@ScarDuck14 I did the restart session at Spa, there were more cars with a bit of front wing damage, but that just slowed them down. None of them ever replaced the wing. This is clearly a coding problem. Also there is a major issue for people who run cockpit view. If you have OSD off in cockpit view your engineer is a mute. Doesn't tell you anything, like goals while racing or you just got a speeding penalty, or to watch the corner cutting, or distance between cars front and rear. Just doesn't speak at all. Sometimes the radio menu won't even come up so you can ask the basic questions. You have OSD on while in cockpit view, which obstructs your view, he won't shut up....
