They have to do something rapidly, there is now zero enjoyment since 1.7.
Like many have said it feels like steering assist is applied. Monaco is a joke!

@contitegoExactly right. If you have to make any steering adjustment in let's say the middle part and exit of Tabac. The car double turns like steering assist is being applied.
Also when straightning up the steering and applying the power on the exit of the Loews hairpin the car feels so incredibly wrong. It sort of slides you to the right when your steering left?
The entire update for controller players has broken the game.
I am just flabbergasted that it was supposed to be an improvement. How on this entire planet is this an improvement when the majority of people on here are complaining about it?
Fact, Mario Kart has better handling and I'm not joking!Revert it back or resolve it please.

Raise till it goes away...for me it's 2 clicks to both.- contitego2 years agoRising Traveler

Raise till it goes away...for me it's 2 clicks to both.I appreciate your response, but at this point, I'm done with F1 24. A new handling change is included every time EA/Codies releases a patch. I have to spend hours reacclimating to the new changes, and by the time I'm mostly used to it, EA releases another wacky patch. On PS5, I can't use my Logitech G pro wheel due to FFB issues and the controller is borked. On the PC I can use my wheel, and the controller is borked.

The feeling of steering assist being on for controller players is still the same regardless of any ride height configurations. I've tried and tested every single aspect of setups.
The problem with this is that the steering inputs are not smooth enough, it's way too pointy and absolutely horrible to drive.
The slow speed understeer is terrible. You turn in super sharp and because of this you sometimes have to make small adjustments in the steering. This is when it feels like steering assist is being applied, or some type of auto correction on the steering. Then as you apply the power the front end just does not grip like it should do. It just scrubs outward with huge understeer.
I tend to only have this problem in the slow corners, medium speed corners aren't as bad, but still far from perfect. Fast corners are actually good for me on controller.
As the majority of others are experiencing the same feeling with controllers, they clearly have to address it as soon as possible.
Just look at the amount of people reporting the same, with some not even playing it until it's resolved. Including me.
