Ranked games F1 2023 - disappointment
The ranking system cries out for vengeance to heaven:
1. Lack of option to add friends to a ranked race:
The current system doesn't allow players to team up with friends for races, which is a major drawback. This feature would add a whole new social dimension to the game and make it more enjoyable for many players.
2. Lack of restrictions for higher league progression:
Advancing to a higher league should come with certain limitations, such as disabling ABS or partially reducing traction control. This would level the playing field and make it more challenging for experienced players to dominate races.
3. Unfair advantage for players with all assists:
It's absurd that a player with all assists enabled can have an advantage over a player without any assists, especially when it comes to car stability. This needs to be addressed to ensure a fair and balanced racing experience.
4. Lack of a reporting system for unfair practices:
There's no way to report players who engage in unsportsmanlike behavior, such as pushing other cars into walls or deliberately braking to cause damage. A reporting system would help maintain a clean and enjoyable racing environment.
5. Unplayable server issues:
Despite having a good internet connection and a LAN setup, players often experience server lag and connection drops, causing opponents to appear and disappear randomly. This makes it impossible to race competitively and forces players to drive cautiously to avoid collisions. A more stable server infrastructure is desperately needed.
6. Mandatory ghost mode if gameplay issues persist:
If the developers cannot fix the server issues, they should implement mandatory ghost mode in all races. This would allow players to finish races without the frustration of constant interruptions and collisions.
In summary, the ranking system in the game needs significant improvements to address these issues and provide a fair, enjoyable, and competitive racing experience for all players.
