RANKED LOBBIES 25% DISTANCE????

Are there any plans to add 25% races to ranked lobbies?

I cant for the life of me understand why this has been removed from the game, ranked racing was my go to game mode on previous titles but I just cant get into 5 lap races. For me they are pointless.

Half of the enjoyment of F1 is being able to show consistent race pace and planning a good race strategy. Anybody can nail a single good lap time, but being able to maintain a consistent pace for a race distance is a challenge that I always enjoyed. Ranked play is suppose to be where you go to show off your skills and fight with other competitive drivers but over 5 laps this just isn't the same experience or challenge and I no longer play Ranked because of this. (which I feel is a slight punishment as I'm stuck on silver ranking and going backwards every week I don't play a ranked race, and therefore I'm not getting any podium pass bonus, which isn't really a big loss, because rewards are terrible and boring, but still annoying)

I do think 5 lap races should remain a option for those who are short on time etc but 25% races should defiantly be the standard option for ranked.

I fully agree with you! Pls bring back the 25% races in ranked! 5 laps is so pointless....

Fully agreed. Even the larger playerbase doesn't like the change. Occasionally I queue for a ranked race just to see if it's fixed and so far I either end up in an empty lobby or there 2-3 other people max. And this happens even in peak player count hours. It's unbelievable they haven't fixed it yet.

Could there not be options to choose between: 5 lap, 25% and 50% ranked races??
I saw it had been reduced to 5 laps at launch and haven’t played a single lap of ranked. It’s pointless. It’s not F1. It encourages mayhem and dirty driving. It’s a mad dash to the flag in 5 laps. What do they expect? Who’s going to race properly and be patient when everyone behind you is just going to smash their way through?
Games these days seem to want to appeal to the attention deficit TikTok generation. Short bursts of gameplay instead of getting stuck in to a proper race.

Im also in for 25% races as 5 laps is not fun, no strategy, nothing. Any update on this?

Can't belive were so far into this game cycle with multiple complaints about this and still no reply or change from EA.
F1 IS NOT JUST ABOUT PURE PACE!!!!
Strategy, tyre management, and even now battery management are all parts of a real F1 race that makes F1 what it is.
The new feature they added for ERS management that means nothing because who cares about management for 5 laps of racing!!
Still fuming about this.
