Ranked multiplayer needs to be a 25% race

Personally I think we should be able to choose between the 2, like we could in as recent as 22

I also don't understand this decision. I prefer races classified in 25%. This is more interesting than 5 lap sprints. Especially since in ranked we often play against shameless players who don't hesitate to rush into you so that you don't overtake them. With the damage over 5 turns a stop at the xatnd is the last place assured while in 25% we can always change strategy and move up in the ranking.

Afterwards I understand that some prefer short races but then in this case we would have to do two types of classified races which we could choose before the matchmaking: For example we could choose classified race Sprint for 5 laps and classified race GP for 25% . But this would induce two distinct classifications so that the results are not distorted.

I'm disappointed by the apparant lack of addressing this by EA so I'm commenting to bump this post in hope 25% returns.

Longer online races would be most welcome. I have zero interest in racing 3-5 lap races. It's just a crashfest full of people with no patience, and the short races encourages desperate moves because you don't have much time to catch leaders. Tyre wear and damage is not a factor. 5 lap races are a symptom of the TikTok generation. Quick fire 5 minute games before people lose the attention span! 

Can we have the option for 25-35-50-100% races? 

Im well aware that 100% may not be popular, but there are people who enjoy longer races, and "Ranked" should be for the competitive players!!

Leave the 5 lap sprint crash races for the "Unranked"

Why not bring back the much loved F1 2010-2013 style of lobby selection?
