I'd be surprised if they released any features or information regarding F125 until much nearer the time of release.
I think F125 is the single most important F1 game they will create. The amount of deserved criticism of F124 should have made them take notice and therefore deliver a game worth buying, instead of a complete and utter bug fest devoid of content.
The path EA have chosen to go down clearly is not working with the fan base. They simply have to come away from their obsession with tacky gimmicks that contribute absolutely nothing to the game.
The massive decline in content, quality and in house testing from F124 has damaged the trust of the majority of players.
They have a gargantuan task on their hands to regain that back with a proper F1 game for F125.

I hope to god it's better than F1 23.
Stuff that's been commented upon time after time goes completely ignored.
They announced F1 24 on February 27th and started pushing out information over the following weeks. So, it will probably be March before we get any significant news.

Did EA/Codemasters just confirm, not just Braking Point, but F1 26???
Clearly hinting that the fictional team from the game (genuinely can't remember what it was called....) will be on the grid alongside the new Cadillac F1 team in 2026....
We know there are 2 teams that overlap and work simultaneously on each title, right? Have the F1 24 team now switched focus to F1 26?
This is probably the first real hint that there will be a game beyond F1 25.
I agree, F1 25 NEEDS to be a big improvement to the hardcore/league racing type player... The gimmicks for the casual fan are not selling or going down well with the community.
F1 24 was really poor, and I didn't think it could get much worse than F1 2014/2015. Recent patches have improved the handling, but there is still a long way to go in getting my trust back to pre-ordering!

I hope they aren’t bringing Braking Point back. Or the F1 World car. Just fix the actual core game for next year.
- IanM2827 months agoSeasoned Ace@AEF251 I'll be at breaking point if they do. I'm hoping they implement some of the great ideas that have been suggested by the community in the feedback post they created. Otherwise what's the point.
My bet is none of those suggestions will be included and yet more abysmal drivel will be in it as usual. - tbazzell11275 months agoNew Traveler
So I was told that EA and CM are going to use f1 25 as a test model for added things such as creating your own power supply, helmet editor, and a ground breaking new handling model. Is there any truth behind this? If so I would not be opposed to that to be honest get everything prepared for f1 26 and the new engine it'll be on work out kinks etc, if this is what is in fact going to happen I think the game should be heavily reduced in price and use it as essentially a beta test would be wonderful.

Hey there,
Let's try to keep rumours and similar information outside our boards. Unless something is announced on our official pages or social channels, let's take it with a pinch of salt.

Wasn't intending on spreading rumors, it was more of like ya that wouldn't be a bad idea if they did something like that to better the f1 series for the future to come. My apologies for any misunderstanding
- mikyesposto15 months agoNew Hotshot@tbazzell1127 I believe that f1 25 must be a good base to make a big leap in 2026. They will be completely different cars to manage and drive but f1 25 must be the base of this desire for redemption. For example in 2026 all the dynamic weather should be redone from scratch to align with games of the caliber of Assetto Corsa Evo and Iracing. I expect a real recovery, you can't throw away f1 25 with the excuse that in 2026 there will be new rules and new cars. We need a driving model that brings f1 back on the right path and a team that tests all the bugs that exist to limit them as much as possible. As we have said many times, the focus must be on the track, not redeeming gloves and helmets. F1 deserves this.

Whatever they decide to do for F125, the primary focus simply has to be more attention to detail with regard to the actual racing.
I'm not confident that they have learned any hard lessons from the abject failure of F124 and in some respects the games before that since EA took over.
As I've mentioned before, I think F125 could be a defining moment for EA. Mess this one up with more gimmicks and more focus on the live season rubbish rather than the actual racing and it could be a disaster for them.
I hope they have listened to all of the feedback and actually do something productive. Of course all suggestions can't be implemented, but at least show us that you've paid attention and improve the core of the game as recommended by the entire community.
