@IShadicMost really good players ive heard are saying the brakes are the best ever and its actually amazing and needs more skill now which is great, so that point about breaks is completely off.
Sadly I suspect when this game gets into everyone's hands alot of those complaints will follow. Whether its breaks, traction control, or the new handling and the effects of the weight and suspension of the car folks are going to complain because it's different than it used to be. Rather than taking the time to learn to adjust their driving habits we will likely see complaints for changes to be made.
Personally I think the game feels as best as it ever has. There's a real price to pay for being offline, a price to pay for being too hard on, or too early on the throttle, a price to pay for being too aggressive on the brakes. All of these things are completely normal for race car drivers not bugs, or issues, or poor design choices. Right now there's such a great feel to the handling model especially when you throw that car into a turn and feel that weight, the downforce, the suspension, the car just digging in to the track and flying through that corner. It's extremely rewarding. Take climbing up the esses at Suzuka or Austin. Nail it just right and it will feel great, miss it though and you'll certainly know it. That is NOT a bad thing. There's alot to be said for momentum and smoothness in your driving this year as well. Timing your braking, entry into the corner, and when to get back on the throttle is a great feeling when you get it right, and it's an equally poor feeling when you get it wrong and that's how it should be in my opinion.
Nobody panic though, it's not like the difficulty has gone way up here, it's just a noticeable change in the driving model and it's one that this series has been missing for a long time in my opinion.
