Stuck at seventh place
Hello,
I’m playing My Team mode in F1 24 and I’ve noticed an issue regarding my team’s development. Despite having maxed out all facilities and completed all R&D upgrades, the top teams (like Red Bull, Ferrari, McLaren, Mercedes, Aston Martin, and VICARB) still seem to have an advantage in car development. Additionally, other lower-tier teams are slowly catching up and surpassing me.
Here are some details about my current progress:
- Season: 8
- Funds: Over 600 million
- Acclaim Points (R&D points): 240,000+
- All facilities are fully maxed out.
- R&D Upgrades:
- Aerodynamics: 24/24
- Chassis: 23/23
- Powertrain: 24/25 (I have one upgrade unavailable, and I don’t know why. In the past, I’ve had other unavailable upgrades, but even after they became available, my position in the "Vehicle Performance Comparison" graph remained 7th.)
- Durability: 29/29
- Engine Changes: I’ve switched engines three times (Mercedes, Ferrari, Red Bull), but I haven’t seen any significant improvements.
I would like to know:
- Is there an intentional limit on the development of the player-created team to prevent it from surpassing the top teams?
- Are there updates or regulations that could unlock further improvements in later seasons?
- Is this behavior a bug or an intentional design choice?
