WET Time Trial

Why was this ever removed?
Can we get it back?

It was a great place to practice wet weather driving and adjust setups to cope with the conditions….
Seems silly to have quietly removed it..

In our league, so many players moan when the race loads up and it’s raining, and they all struggle to drive in the rain. I wonder why!!
They can’t practice in a wet time trial and it rarely rains in career mode…

Racing in the wet is a big skill test and a part of F1….

In recent years we’ve seen the rain/spray effects become non existent in the F1 game, and now the wet time trial mode has been removed?
Will F1 25 even have rain at all at this rate?
Let’s get the mode back please!!
I don’t wanna hear that not as many people played it… I’d bet more people played wet time trial than F1 world, but that’s still there 😂

  • Agreed, another important feature removed to make way for more unrealistic drivel! So annoying.

  • @SDGMatt @SDGMatt You are absolutely right about removing features.
But for wet conditions you still have GP mode, where you can set the weather for inter or full wets conditions. There you are able to practise as long as you want.

@BulletproofXX86 Yeah but then you have other cars on track, session time limits, inability to pop in and out of the setup menu to tweak the setup without loading back in and out of the game mode.
So Wet TT would be MUCH more useful and player friendly for practicing.
  • @SDGMatt I dont think so, because in TT you have ideal conditions also for wet. (grip level, ERS, temperature). Mainly because everyone should has the same and equal conditions and settings to run a lap time.

In GP mode you simply have more variables (track evolution, temeperatures etc..) and are therefore more authentic in terms of career or league racing.

only advantage of TT is the possibility to copy the setup of other drivers.

@BulletproofXX86We’ll agree to disagree. Your points for using GP mode over TT could also be applied to dry conditions…. So just do away with TT mode altogether then?
There is NO logical reason why they would have removed Wet TT and it should be put back in! Simple as that!

@BulletproofXX86 time trial in the wet is just as important as the dry TT. you create a setup and go straight onto the track, can go straight back into the pits, change something and go straight back onto the track.
In the GP/lobby you have a limited number of tires, too many variables, other cars on the track and a limited time, depending on the mode you also have to drive back to the pits every time and wait for the animations to finish to be able to change something on the setup.
Nothing can replace the wet TT mode, it was always very important for those who wanted to practice in the rain

I came here to make the exact same post.

    Please make wet TT mode!

Having a leaderboard, racenet comparisons to your friends and just consistency so you can figure out what is fast

  • There is just no valid reason to have removed it in the first place!! Let’s get wet TT back in F1 25
