Why only 3 helmets?
The helmet designs are bad enough and now we only have 3 to choose from? What on earth is going on here?
Please add more in future patches. Quite simply not good enough and unacceptable!

I’ve bought every single game since F1 2010 on launch day. (Actually, I even bought F1 2009 on the Wii) And I play them all year round league racing right up until the new game is launched.
I can say with absolute certainty than I won’t buy F1 25 unless I see an enormous improvement.
F1 2014 and 2015 were disappointing, but F1 24 takes the cake!! I regret buying it!!
Half the drivers in my league have skipped it this year after playing the EA Play preview. Reviews are terrible.
It’s not even a copy and paste from F1 23
It’s a copy, remove massive chunks of F1 23 and paste…. But charge the same price!
@SDGMatt Yes, you summed up the situation well and I'm in the same situation as you, players for a very long time too, so obviously the frustration is great.
As I already had for my part, my goal is not to disrespect the developers nor EA or Codemaster but to make them react given that the community cannot have any direct contact with them.
That's why I attacked the subject of personalization because firstly it's been around for too many years and then because we have to vulgarly shout so that the message gets through. It's unfortunate to have come to this.

Goat is still F1 championship edition 2006 I think. Sadly before codemasters

@Douglas673 Personally I no longer have access to the old F1 games because I now only own the Playstation 5 but if one day I have the opportunity to get my hands on it again I would be like a kid 😁
I will rediscover that feeling of loving an F1 opus which unfortunately is no longer relevant despite some progress this year like in career mode but which remains too light for my part 😐
I still have all my old units. I still play a game on ps2, I play that 1 on ps3 & I still play techmo Super Bowl on Nintendo. Love the old games!

Also, stop with shiny materials on race suits - they look ridiculous.

@Monzstar83 Yes it's true that the outfit has a very strange sort of shiny effect but anyway I think that at this stage of the customization everything needs to be changed. 🙄

Absolutely no where near good enough! So glad this subject has picked up some traction and outrage. A lot of bugs can happen but something as simple as putting helmets in should be easy! Only putting 1 helmet in the base game and 3 in the store is a CHOICE by the developers, and that’s just disgraceful!

What’s ridiculous is that the official team suits are not shiny, so they’re more than capable of getting the textures right, which means making the custom ones shiny was a design choice!!
whoever designed these things, along which the genius who made the decision to launch a premium priced game with just 1 helmet and so at livery needs to be fired!! They have no place working at that studio. They’re not good enough!!
even from a greed of point of view, it can’t even be about microtransactions, because there’s nothing to buy!!! I got 18,000 pit coin with the game. Earned another 6,000 through my podium pass, so now I’ve got 24,000 and nothing to spend it on! So why there would even be an in game storefront to buy more pitcoin is beyond me. Nobody is going to spend money if there any anything to spend it on! Don’t you want our money EA??
I just hope that those who decided on this unacceptable decision of giving us 3 helmets actually does something about it. Unfortunately I highly doubt we will see any improvements in F124.
Do the right thing EA and include some older helmet designs from 21,22 and 23 in an upcoming patch.
@IanM282 Yes, I unfortunately think that there will not be much improvement on this point this year.

@SDGMatt I have never sheen a shiny suit anywhere IRLI don’t even think it’s possible given the materials those suits are made from. If something is print screened onto the suit then maybe, but not the actual suit.

Please include old helmets from games 21/22/23 in the next patch.
That would at least be a start.
But only 3 helmets is not possible at all.They need to something. Surely they can now see just by the amount of reactions that this is just not acceptable!

Come on Codemasters, at least add some helmets to the store?? Where are all the ones from last year? Why have they all been removed?? They’re completely made up designs with no sponsors, so don’t even tell me it’s a licensing thing…
And why are the podium pass helmet, livery and suit locked until level 48?? You’ve got to grind the sh** out of the game relentlessly to unlock 1 helmet!!it’s just not good enough!!
It's also not fair on the casual player who enjoys playing the game but doesn't spend much time on it to unlock helmets etc.
How on earth did they come to the conclusion that this would go down well (not).
I feel totally disappointed.
