I have played fp3 in my team career for 3-4 times before the session ending and getting a black screen with the “please wait” icon in the top right hand side. I have updated the game and closed and opened it a few times with no result. Please help.
Wow after patch 1.7 its working , i can finally skip FP3 🙂

I have uploaded it to online storage as instructed in the link you provided to the forum, I’m unable to transfer from console storage to a usb to upload.
That’s my issue
Same issue on PS5, mate. I started a driver career, worked up from F2 to F1, and got stuck in the third race practice round with a "please wait" screen that I can't get past. It's annoying that there's only one save file, so you can't even jump back to the race prior. I decided to try the owner/driver mode until it's fixed, got 18 races into the first season, and the same thing happened in the third practice round. It's so infuriating to lose hours of progress like this.
Both times, this has happened because I've completed the practice targets in the first and second session, then quick-ended the third. I get the "please wait" screen, close the game after a good 15-25 minute wait, reopen it, and lose all the bonus activities (everything shows 3/5) on the third round when I reload. Then I'm unable to progress stuck in this loop of loading into third practice ending and getting stuck in the "please wait" screen.
Sort it out, EA. I don't want this to be like dynamic potential and other errors in FIFA career mode where I just give up on it, where you're more focused on patching things for Ultimate Team and ignoring your loyal customers who have played your games for 25 years plus. I find It appalling.
I’ve currently done f2 all the way to FP3 in Bahrain and that’s it. Driver rating is 73 and I don’t want to start again. So frustrating
Juste got the same issue, for me, I loaded fp3 on quick practice, and pressed the back button before I was in the practice, so the game came back in the session choice menu, but whatever I do, nothing would happen, so I leave and launch the game again.
It gives me the reward screen, and then launch fp3 as normal.
But everytime the timer end, or I skip it by any way, I'm stuck on the Please wait screen.

I can't give you my save file because I play on Ps5 But I'm in a career as my own driver with Haas, first season in Japan.

I accidentally did the same thing, it has to be related hopefully they can override it. I don’t even care about the resource points
