I have played fp3 in my team career for 3-4 times before the session ending and getting a black screen with the “please wait” icon in the top right hand side. I have updated the game and closed and opened it a few times with no result. Please help.
Wow after patch 1.7 its working , i can finally skip FP3 🙂

I have had the same issue in my second season in Monza, when I tried to do FP3 in quick mode, nothing happened and no buttons were working, so I restarted the game.
When I opened the career again it loaded into the FP3 session at the track, where some already completed strategy programs were not completed.
I then tried ending the session by letting the time run out and then I got the same problem with the infinite loading screen.
In my opinion, it seems like the game thinks it has started the quali session without saving FP3 as the tire allocation is only two soft tires and everything else has been returned like it normally would with quali.
I also have no luck with hopping straight to quali or race via skipping.
I hope this helped as this is very gamebreaking and we are all hoping for a fix soon.

i bought this game early just to play the new career mode. Now all my three save slots are bricked, can’t progress any further into the races!

I have this same issue on PS5. I tried to quick practise FP3, and pressing circle to exit quick practise and game went back to session selection, where I couldn’t choose any session. When I went to main menu and loaded career again, it went to FP3, but I already got R&D points, but all programs were 0 points. If I try to retire session or move to next session other ways, game crashes. There will be black screen and just saying please wait and then nothing happens.

Bad news guys, our problem is listed in Investigating and not Awaiting Patch. I'm afraid this won't be solve in next patch.
Kinda sad for ppl like me who bought the game mainly because of the "revamp" of career mode...

I've lost two careers. One in Japan between FP2 > FP3
Second in Monaco post FP3 to Quali
The first season lost, I made a change of AI Difficulty (increase) between FP2 and FP3.
The second season, I made no changes. It just decided to break by itself.

Same issue for me Black Screen with infinite "Loading' in Spain in MyCareer.I play 1 and 2 training and after click skip training 3 any buttons don't work , after restart game and open MyCarrer i be in garage in Training 3 but when i press skip to do next session/use reteired in menu i got black screen with loading....
