Career- Can’t change race start strategy

I’m in my first season in f1 career (at Miami) and the tire strategy at the start of the race couldn’t be changed. It gave me a weird S/S/S/M strategy, and I couldn’t change any tire or reduce the number of changes. The previous race locked me into a 3 tire strategy when I only wanted 2. How do I fix this glitch?

    Balanced. Not sure why that would make it ask me to run soft/soft/soft/medium in a 1 stop race?

    Do you use the softer, balanced or harder selection when going into the race weekend?

    Usually the race will default a strategy based on the tires you have left after practice and qualifying
