Controller steering

For some reason, starting since the latest patch yesterday, the steering on my controller has gone completely, before i was using minimal assists but today when i loaded the game, i was basically unable to drive and the car would spin out with the slightest touch. The same is happening with my friend who is also on controller. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
