Difficulty Adjustment in the Wet

My friend and I are in a two player career on 103 difficulty, which has mostly been a good level for us. We're at Imola next race and basically the whole weekend is a washout. Based on my single player, the AI in the wet is way too strong, so rather that us both be way off the back of the pack I'm wondering what to amend the difficult to so that we can have a half decent race?
