100% agree! I don’t understand how this very studio were able to create far better rain/spray effects 2 console generations ago, and yet for all the power or new consoles, we don’t have any spray at all!!
F1 2012 even introduced dynamic live track weather where rain would come in from various directions and make one part of the track wetter than others. We had puddles/wet/dry lines. A longer transition between weather states.
Now we have barely any transition. It’s almost like a switch between wet and dry in an instant.
The spray is non existent. We don’t have any drying lines form.
How did this aspect of the game go so far backwards? It was perfect over 12 years ago!
